Your POV

It was cold. I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I had the blanket off. I sat up and looked around. I rubbed my eyes when I realized something. Emily. I got up and ran to the door. I swung it open only to come face to face to face with Sans. "Woah. Slow down there Dove." he said. I tried to push past him but he grabbed my arm. "What are you doing?" he asked. "I need to find Emily." I said. "I need to talk to her." I said trying to get away. He waited a second thinking something. After a while he nodded. "Come on." he said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the back of the house. I was confused but stumbled along behind him. He stopped causing me to bump into him. "Oww." I mumbled rubbing my head. He looked at me before turning back to the door and pulling a key out. He unlocked the door. There were stairs leading down. We headed down the stairs. It was dark and smelled like cleaning supplies, blood, and chemicals. I shivered. I saw a light indicating we were near the bottom. It was coming through a crack from under a door. He turned to me. "You ready?" he asked. I nodded. He turned around and opened the door.

I never expected to see what I saw. Emily was inside a tank. It was filled with a lilac colored liquid. Before Sans could stop me I ran to the tank. I rested my hand on the glass and looked at her. She had tubes coming from different places on her body. I felt someone behind me. "W-why is she like this?" I asked my voice cracking. Sans sighed. "Let me get Alphys. She can explain it better then I can." I tried nodding but it was as if my ability to move my body was taken away. I heard foot steps walking away. I closed my eyes. I prayed she was ok. Someone that I cared about was ripped from me. The sister I never knew I had. I never met her before. I had so many questions. Why didn't mom or dad tell me about her? Why did mom and dad leave? If she was a demon/angel hybrid. Then why was I a human/monster hybrid? I was so confused. I leaned my head against the tank and waited for Sans to return.

I had been at most 5 minutes before I heard foot steps. I turned around and saw Sans and the small dinosaur from earlier. "P-please s-sit down." she stuttered gesturing to the chair nearby. I slowly walked over and sat down. She shuffled over and sat in the chair across from me. Sans leaned against a wall and pulled a cigarette out. "N-no s-smoking!" she yelled. He made a tch noise and put it out. She turned around to face me. "I-I'm Alphys and I-I'm g-going to try to a-answer your q-questions." she said with a small nervous smile. I nodded. She got comfortable and looked at me. Waiting for me to ask a question. I thought for a moment. "Why is she in there?" I asked in a whisper. "I-its to keep her s-safe." she said. I nodded. "What is that liquid in there?" I asked looking at it. "I-its called T-Takoe. Its m-mostly her s-soul e-essence." she said. I made the word Takoe to my knowledge.) "What does it do?" "I-it keeps h-her alive." she said. I nodded slowly. "When can you take her out?" I asked. "H-hopefully tomorrow." she said. I nodded and didn't say anything else. "A-anything e-else?" she asked. I shook my head and stood up. "Thank you." I said walking back over to the tank. I pressed my palms to the glass and sent a silent prayer to her. Hoping she got it. I turned around and headed back up stairs.

I had been sitting up stairs on the couch for half an hour. I was curled in a ball with my knees tucked up. I didn't know what to think. I had so many questions only Emily could answer. I was worried. It was a new feeling. I looked around and slowly got up. I wandered to the kitchen where the goat women was standing by the counter with Frisk on top of it. When Frisk's eyes landed on my she jumped off and ran towards me. She hugged my waist. I was shocked but slowly hugged her back. "Thank you." she whispered. I nodded. She let go. The goat lady was standing before me now. "My name is Toriel but you can call me Tori." she said kindly. She had a mother tone about her. I nodded and gave a small smiled. Before I knew what was happening she had wrapped me in a bone crushing hug. "Thank you so much for saving my child." she said. I nodded. "She was in trouble." I said as if it was nothing. She let go and gave me a warm smile. She had a look like she realized something. "Frisk take..." she stopped realizing I hadn't said my name. I paused a moment and debated saying my real name. "(Y/n). (Y/n) (L/N)." I said. "Alright (Y/n). Frisk will you please take her to the table?" Toriel asked. Frisk nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me to the table.

Frisk had me sat down at the table. We waited in silence a moment until Toriel came in with a pie. The heavy aroma of cinnamon and butterscotch filled the air. I felt me mouth water slightly. Toriel seemed to notice and chuckled. She cut out a large piece for me and set it in front of me. Afterwards getting Frisk and herself some. They sat down next to me and we started eating. Small talk was said. It was nice though. Not being hurt for once. It felt....homey. Not that I would know much about that but still. I smiled. It was one of the first actual smiles I had. Finally, even though everything was going wrong. Something was right.

Ok so after literally an hour of brainstorming to myself. I finally had a direction planned. Now before any of you freak out no this is not the end. I just decided this was a good place to stop for now. So yea...woop. This was actually a very long chapter so I'm pretty proud. Alright then so have a good night or good morning. Cause some of you might stay up till the in goldly hours of the morning. Buh Bye!!!!
