Your POV
I woke up to something holding my arm. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Frisk. I also noticed I was no longer on the couch. After hanging out with Frisk and Tori for a while I fell asleep on the couch. I saw Frisk sound asleep and smiling. I let out a sad smile. Remembering that this was how I used to sleep with my "mother". I sighed and looked a the clock next to me. 4:09. I yawned and decided to go back to sleep. I put a arm around Frisk and fell back to sleep.
Nope...Not gonna happen. Why the fuck can't I go to sleep? I sighed and sat up. Well as much as I could sit with a small child clutching my arm. I slowly unwrapped myself from the small child's grasp. After a bit of prying she finally let go and grabbed a pillow. I sat up slowly and left the room. I carefully tip toed out of the room.
I leaned against the out door railing. I decided to come outside to get some fresh air. I let out a sigh and watched my breath disappear into nothing. I couldn't help but think about everything that happened in the past week. "Everything changed." I said aloud. "Agreed." a voice said making me jump. I looked towards the voice and saw Sans. "What are you doing up?" I asked. "I could ask you the same thing." he said. I chuckled. "Couldn't sleep. You?" I asked. "Felt like something was up." he said. I nodded and looked back towards the city. For a world slowly falling apart everything didn't look as horrible. The night sky made it look more....old. Moss had grown on most of the buildings. Some were falling apart. But it didn't look like war. More like an abandoned city that nature re-claimed. I laid my head on the railing and closed my eyes. Breathing in the air. I shivered slightly. I was about to rub my arms when something warm and familiar was draped around my shoulders. I saw it was Sans jacket. I looked at him and saw that he had a cigarette in his mouth and was looking at the city. "How did everything get so fucked up?" he asked. I shrugged and looked towards the city. "Humans can't accept anything." I said. He paused for a minute. "What about you?" I froze before sighing. "I...don't know." I replied honestly. "I really don't know." I watched as he flicked his cigarette towards the yard as it went out. He walked over and warped his arms around my waist and laid his head on mine. I tensed up for a minute before slowly leaning back into him. I closed my eyes as the scent of smoke entered my nostrils. It was finally quiet. After so long everything was finally....sane. I exhaled as a small smile tugged at my lips. I was about to tell him we should go back in when there was a flash and a rumble. I jumped and turned towards the house. I looked at Sans and saw he was on edge. I ran into the house.
I heard a rumbling noise. It was coming from the basement. I ran down towards the door and saw it opened. I flung open the door and raced down the stairs. I heard foot steps of who I assumed was Sans. I raced to the bottom door and flung it open.
What I saw made me freeze. Emily was strapped down to a table. Lilac colored fog seeping from her. I saw Alphys standing next to her trying to stop her. "What happened?!" I said running towards her. Alphys looked at me. "I-I don't know." she said. She was trying to hold her arms down. It looked like she was having a seizure. I ran next to her and held her hand. It seemed as though it had comforted her. She slowly stopped moving. Finally she had only started twitching. Alphys looked at me in shock. "S-she must h-have k-known it w-was you." she said. She sat down and let out a sigh and took a few deep breaths. Sans walked up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him. She looked at Emily with a worried and cautious look. I sighed and laid my head down on the table she was strapped to. "S-sans. I n-need your help." Alphys said. Sans nodded and walked over to her. They walked over to some cabinets and started collecting supplies. While they did that I looked over Emily. Her face had dirt all over it. While her wings were crumpled underneath her. I moved them slowly causing her to flinch. After they were out I slowly started moving the feathers.
Sans and Alphys came back with a lot of medical supplies. I looked at them and tilted my head to the side. "I-Its IV's." she said. I nodded slowly as she pulled a needle out. She poked it in her skin. After attaching tubes to her and such, she flicked on a machine. It beeped and lines popped up. It was a heart monitor. Her heart beat wasn't at a good level but it was ok. Alphys let out a sigh. "S-shes stable." she said. I turned to her and saw her flinch. She assumed I was going to yell at her. I gave her a small smile. "Thank you." I said. She paused then smiled back. I looked at Emily and yawned. "You should go to sleep Dove." Sans said. I shook my head. "No I'm....fine." I said yawning in between. He chuckled slightly. "Ok." he said. He walked over and sat down in a chair. He leaned his head back and fell asleep. I looked at Alphys and saw her yawn. "You should go to sleep." I said. She paused and thought about it before yawning. "O-ok. I-if something h-happens. J-just call." she said before turning and leaving the room. I nodded and turned my attention back to the heart monitor. I close my eyes. I tried to stay awake but sleep slowly took over.
