I had a quick shower before heading to the changing rooms, which is where all the girls choose their dresses when they're to get all dressed up for a special occation. Sometimes we are gives day clothes, they're also kept here.
Either way, we use this room to change into one of the 3 outfits we each possess.

The room was small, and had a 6ft high bar running around the whole room with dresses and such hanging from it. There were seperators creating 10 sections on the wall. I was number 8, so I went to my area. I found nothing there at all. There was just a hanger for my night dress, and that was it. I looked around the room and saw that everyone elses hangers had a short or long dress, with one other girl only having some skimpy underwear; but at least she had that.

I had nothing.

I started hyperventilating slightly. Kayla arrived next to me and glanced at my hangers to see my dress, before her eyes widened and she looked at me.

"Why don't you have a dress, Leezee?" She asked innocently but worriedly at the same time. I hugged her gently.

"I'm not sure hunny, maybe it's in the wash still." I smile at her and crouch down.

"Hey! Look how beautiful your dress is baby! You're gonna look like a princess!" I exclaimed to her and she giggled.

"Well that's easy since I already am a princess, dummy!" She stuck her tongue out at me.
I mock gasped at her,
"Does that make me a princess too?" I asked exaggerating the happy tone in my voice. I reached for the hanger and took her dress off it for her. I helped her in it as she babbled about how she was 'true royalty' and was 'better than everyone and everything ever'.

All the girls were now in the room getting dressed as I stood there helping Kayla in my nightdress. Kelly, from the other side of Kayla finished dressing and came to stand by me.

She touched my shoulder gently so not to hurt me,

"Leez, where's your dress to? Ain't you meant to be getting ready?" she seemed worried for me.
I moved closer to her and whispered in her ear so Kayla didn't hear,

"Mate I don't think I'm getting a dress. I've already been decided on and I think my might'n't've wanted me in clothes." I winced internally.
I myself wasn't from Scotland or Britain at all, but Kelly was and it ruined my accent when I was around her. Her eyes widened.

"So this'll be the last time I'll see ya? My god mate why'd'n't you tell me earlier? When'd you find out?" She quizzed.
I looked at her sadly.

"Mel always reminds us to have hope, but I doubt I'll see you again. I found out just before showers. Im gonna miss you so much Kells." I started crying and leaned in to her her. She hugged me back gently and moved her hand on my back to comfort me.

"Hey hey hey lass, don't cry. You'll be okay. We'll find a way to see each other again; I promise you it. Don't cry beirn. Shh now." She soothed.

Kayla tugged at my nightdress, "Lee Lee why you crying? Mel says it's not good to cry." I sniffle and wipe my face before crouching down next to her.

"I'm gonna be going away for a little while precious, but I'll come back to see you as soon as I can."
I poked her cheek as she started to look sad,

"Hey! Don't get upset lil princess, I'll always remember you. You'll remember me too right?" She nodded.
Sir Jackson came in.

"Ladies, follow me!" everyone walked in a single file line out of the doorway. I stayed where I was until I was at the end of the line and walked as quickly as I could towards the door. Sir Jackson then told his second in command, Fredrick to lead the girls to the audition room and then walked into the room before I reached the door. He closed the door quietly.
