In the Kardial cemetery, Erza was hugging her 'sister', crying tears of joy. She pulls back and cups Alexis's cheek. "Alexis. I'm so glad to see you again." Erza smiled. "Me too." Alexis agreed, crying as well.

Mira then asked the obvious question. "Alexis dear, where were you if you've been alive this whole time?"

Alexis began laughing nervously, rubbing her head sheepishly. "It's a crazy story. But I think the whole guild should know this." She explained. Erza and the Strauss siblings looked at each other before nodding in agreement.

Everyone started to go home for the night, Alexis was about to follow Erza but a warm hand grabbed her wrist. She looked back and saw Natsu. "Natsu. Is something wrong?" She asked.

Unknown to the two, the others were spying on them.

Natsu stared at Alexis with determined eyes. He stepped forward causing Alexis to naturally step back. This continued until Alexis felt a wall against her back. "Natsu. Please say something." She said, feeling anxious, worried and scared.

Natsu places his hands on the wall by the sides of her head. He slowly leans his head forward until his warm lips touch her soft lips.

Alexis's eyes widen in shock. Natsu removes his lips from hers. "I have something I need to tell you. I love you Alexis Fernandez." He confessed, making Alexis gasp. "I've wanted to tell you. But on that day, two years ago when you 'died', I felt my world darken because my light was gone." Natsu said. Alexis's eyes started watering.

"You are my light Alexis. You're beautiful, kind and strong. The way you smile makes my stomach churn and it brightens up the guild. When you confessed in that letter two years ago, it made me happy that you loved me as well but heartbroken because you weren't there for me to tell you 'I love you' back. So Alexis, will you-!" Alexis threw her arms around Natsu's neck and placed her lips onto his, stopping his speech.

Natsu blinked in surprise but closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Alexis's waist, returning the kiss. Two years of repressed feelings were poured into the kiss but soon oxygen became a necessity and they parted, panting heavily.

Alexis smiles. "I love you too Natsu. And yes, I will be your mate." Natsu grins happily and hugs Alexis, swinging her in a circle as he laughed. Alexis giggled, taking in Natsu's contagious happiness.

The others cheered, exposing themselves. Alexis blushed in embarrassment and hid her face in Natsu's chest. Erza stepped up to Natsu, her face doing it's frightening glare. Natsu felt himself sweating. "You better not hurt my sister Natsu Dragneel." Erza said, using his full name to show how serious she was.

"Aye!" Natsu squeaked in fear. "Who knew the flame brain can be so sentimental." Gray teased, smirking. "You trying to say something stripper?!" Natsu snarled, butting his head against Gray's. "So what if I am coal breath!" Gray snarled back. Alexis laughed in joy. "Those two never change." She smiled.

~Timeskip to the next day~

Alexis walked into the guild, wearing her old outfit(Ignore the sword). All the guild members stop what they were doing as their eyes were plastered to the entrance.

"But... I thought we lost you?" Macao mumbled in disbelief. "So you were alive all along?" Wakaba asked, pointing a shaking finger. Alexis nodded but then flinched as several men jumped towards her. "Alexis~!"

"You keep your filthy paws off of her!" Erza growled as she swiped them away with her sword, holding Alexis behind her. "I think they're just happy to see her." Natsu deadpanned. "Yeah, chill out." Happy agreed. "Oh my goodness." Mirajane giggled.
