I Didn't Do Anything I Swear!

The wind blew and my body shook from the cold. I felt a presence but could not see anyone. I shrugged it off as my dress kissed the sand and my bare feet glided through it. My blonde locks shook in the wind. I shuddered again, and the rain slowly pored down, creating the effects of tears I so desperately wanted to release.

The waves slowly became distant and calm. Poseidon's head emerged out of the surface. He slowly walked forwards. He continued to walk forwards the water splashed as he went. His pace began to get quicker, I took a step back, of all the people I had to meet it happened to be him. He looked angry then I realised I wasn't the only one on the beach, besides me was Aphrodite.

No. Not now I can't have this. I was about to turn away when Aphrodite grabbed my wrist. "Never come to the beach again, Poseidon doesn't want a boring, ugly, know-it-all" with that she smiled at Poseidon, let go of my wrist and walked away. Poseidon looked at me confusion written on his face, I shook my head to get rid of Aphrodite's horrible words. "What happened?" I shook my head again. "Don't worry about it, I should go" Poseidon looked annoyed and grabbed my wrist, I winced. He removed his hand "I'm sorry." I looked at him wide eyed "no you didn't hurt me, Aphrodite did, she's stronger than she looks" he nodded, but was not fully convinced. A minute passed and neither of us had said anything. I bit my lip, "I should be going" I said. Poseidon nodded then spoke as I turned around and took a step forwards, "no wait please stay." I looked at him, "I'm not sure that's a good idea, everyone seems pissed at me."

He tilted his head to the side. "Why?" I looked at him, "like father, like son" I said.

He smiled and gently grabbed my wrist. Together we walked towards the sea. Once there, Poseidon controlled the sea to heal my wound. (A/N: exactly how Percy does it to Annabeth) I smiled, "thank you" he smiled back "no problem."

We fell silent again, I bit my lip "hold on a minute." he spoke. He swam away, and then flipped his merman tail appeared; as for the water it splashed me. "Poseidon!" he chuckled "sorry." I glared at him.
Then I spoke, although I think I saw a little bit of humour in Poseidon's eyes when my curiosity took over.
"Can I see your tail?" he nodded. And then he perched himself half in the water half out.
"Whoa!" I spoke, and I meant it, I had never seen a mermaid, or a merman let alone the tail of one. "Please tell me this happens all the time when you go in water?" He shook his head no, and confusion laced my face "what do you mean?" I asked.

Poseidon smiled "when I go in water I can choose if I have my merman tail or not" after he said that I made an 'oh' face.
He smiled and I smiled as I touched "this is so cool." he nodded "yes it is."

When I was asking questions on mermaid tails, we found Hermes besides us "hate to interrupt but Zeus wants us." I nodded "Okay we'll be there in a minuet." He nodded and flashed away. I looked at Poseidon and he climbed out of the water. Once his tail disappeared, he walked and slowly his armour came on.

Together we walked towards the entrance to Olympus, and slowly I learned more on mermaids and trust me it was fun. We slowly walked and Poseidon talked more, but as soon as we walked in I noticed all gods the froze.
Poseidon looked confused as I felt. "What's going on?" Poseidon spoke; instead of answering Zeus spoke to the guards.
"Seize her" they slowly walked up to me. Poseidon stepped in front "Wait what have I missed?"
"Athena you are under are arrest for the assault of Aphrodite." he boomed, I looked shocked "No wait I didn't I never would."
I spoke desperately. They didn't listen instead they advanced closer. I turned to Poseidon" I swear I didn't I was with you for hours and you saw her on the beach" he nodded and grabbed my hand, "she has an alibi and a witness."

Zeus became red in the face. "Do not cover her Poseidon!" he thundered.
"But I'm telling the truth!" Poseidon countered back.

No matter what Zeus wouldn't listen, in the end he flashed me out and together we ran.

At first we flashed to camp and Poseidon ran to the gift shop, passers by gave us strange looks and the poor satyr behind the counter felt Poseidon's wrath.

He grabbed several stuff, such as food, clothes ect. and shoved it into two rucksacks and then he dragged me away.

As he dragged me away we passed Annabeth and Percy. They had the look of confusion written clearly on their faces.

"Mum" asked Annabeth. I was about to reply when the gods flashed in. Poseidon flashed us away with out looking back.

Today has been hellish.
But what hurt me the most was everyone believed Aphrodite over me, even my own father and that hurt. A lot.

"Come on Athena we've got to keep moving" I nodded and fell in step with Poseidon. He grabbed my hand and squeezed "I'm sorry I truly am but your going to have to tell me every thing." I yawned and nodded again.
"Come on let's find somewhere to stay" once again I nodded, no longer in the mood for any wise cracks.

We slowly reached a five star hotel. And yet once we walked into the room. I noticed that I didn't pay attention to what Poseidon called us.

"Okay Bella your going to start from the beginning." I raised an eyebrow. "Bella was the best you could come up with?" he rolled his eyes "I didn't exactly see you help, in fact you were to busy yawning." I smacked his arm "not my fault" he snickered "sure" he replied sarcastically. "Okay so what's your name?" I asked. "Zac" he replied. This time it was me who sniggered. "Really?" he faked hurt "hey it was the first thing that came in my head miss Olympia and be thankful it wasn't Edward." I sobered up and nodded "True, and really Olympia?" he looked at me.

"Shut up and tell me what happened back on Olympus" I nodded and then began retelling my story. "What a bitch" he spoke after I ended. I nodded and yawned.

He lifted his hand in the air. "Here change into these then sleep." he said as he handed me bat man summer pajamas. I looked at him un sure but he persisted on.
"Fine but your sleeping to!"I snapped. He nodded "Fine." and so as I changed in the bathroom he changed in the hotel room.

Once I came out I found Poseidon in grey jogging bottoms "seriously put a top on!" I snapped. He sighed "hate to break it to you Athena, I don't think your maiden anymore" I looked stunned "why do you say that?" I asked not quite getting it. "Think about it Athena, after everything they said about you I don't think they would keep you maiden"
" I think your right." I said. He smiled.

Eventually I nodded and climbed into bed. Poseidon did the same. "Do you think I am innocent?" he smiled "I'm here aren't I?" I nodded "I'm sorry I just..." I turned my head to the side so he would not see the tears that fell.
"Hey it's okay, we will prove that your innocent" he said as he turned my face to look at him. He swiped my tears away and kissed my forehead "anyway they are against wisdom and the worlds dangerous element ever." I smiled "never thought about that" he laughed and laid down, hugging me. As for the rest of the night, we spent it talking and then me falling asleep on his bare chest.

"Goodnight Athena" he whispered.

"Goodnight Poseidon." I replied and with that sleep over took me.
