The Perfect Summer... [ discontinued for now ]

15:Night Out

I smile with extreme joy. He grabs my hand and we run to his car. After we climb in and Damian starts the car, I ask excitedly, "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere.." then he covers my eyes with his jacket. I

I feel the car pull of the parking lot, but after that, I was clueless. He held my hand while driving, and I sang to pop music. After about 15 minutes we stopped. Damian came around to my door, opened it, (I heard all of this.) and carried me out of the car.

He set me down, and took the blindfold off. We were at the beach. "It's beautiful!"I embrace him. Damian holds me tight, and I can feel his warmth. (This is probably cringey writing for y'all!! XD Sorry!) After a bit, we go and play in the sand. We splash at each other, and look for shells, even though it's like 8 o'clock and dark. "C'mon, let's head back to the Cabana."I skip back to our cabana, and lay on the rug.

He lays next to me. I grin and say,"So.."
"So what?"he asks. "I don't even know.."I reply. Before either of us says anything, he pulls me into a kiss. I put my arm around his neck, and his hand went to my hip.

It was perfect.

Yes, it was sloppy and messy. We had sand in our hair, and we were sweaty. I had my hair in a tangle, and my shoes were down the beach. But I was happy.

Finally, we let go, but we kept our foreheads touching. We played a round of a game he had brought in the cabana for half an hour-ish. Then he moved to towels out onto the beach, and we looked at the stars.

At 11:00, he drove me home, and I headed to my room. Thankfully, the girls left the door unlocked, and I snuck off to bed. As I flopped onto my bed I could only think of one word.

Perfection.
