"Hey dad. Nyla and I just got put out of mother's house. Do you still have that house that you said you bought for us?" Skyla asked her father. "Of course I do babygirl. What's going on?" He asked with concern in his voice. "We were laughing at a situation that mama didn't find funny, so she told us that since it so funny to get out of her house and find us somewhere else to live." Skyla said, leaving out the big detail of the story. "Well alright babygirl, y'all get to the house and get some rest. The key is under the door mat. I will meet you all there tomorrow morning for breakfast." He said knowing that Skyla was hiding something from him.
"Alright, Dad. Were almost to our destination. We will call you when we get up in the morning." "Okay, Love you." "Love you too, dad, bye." With that, Skyla disconnected the call. "You must really like the idea of having our father back into our life?" Nyla said causing Skyla to jump. "Nyla, I should slap you! I thought you were sleep!" Skyla exclaimed. Nyla was laughing so hard that she literally couldn't breath. "Dang girl, catch your breath. We don't need to be at the hospital twice in one day. They gonna think we tryin' to set a world record." Skyla said stopping at a stop sign and patting her sister on the back.
"Look here chick, keep the heavy man hands off of me. I probably got all types of black, blue, and purple bruises on me by now." Nyla fussed. "So I just saved your life and you wanna go off on me? That's okay, i'll just shove a chicken bone down your throat and let you choke next time." Skyla said mugging her sister. "Thank you for saving my life twin." Nyla said reaching to the driver's side to hug her sister. In response, Skyla stepped on the gas and made Nyla fly back to her side of the car. "You should've had your seat belt on." Skyla said to her sister. Nyla just folded her arms and rolled her eyes. It was one of those awkward moments during the car ride where didn't nobody have anything to say, so the girls just rode the rest of the way in silence.
