Skyla & Nyla: A Bond Like No Other

Chapter 4

Sitting in the car in silence, Nyla couldn't stop smiling at the fact of Jakevion calling and making up to her. She was glancing at the front of the building every now and then waiting for her sister to come out. She was wondering what was taking her sister so long. She started thinking the worse and then she remembered the boy in the hall and brushed it off. Then she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Boo!" Skyla yelled tapping on her sister. "Ahhhhh," Nyla screamed nearly jumping through the roof of the car. "Did you miss me?" Skyla asked grinning towards her sister. "Sky, why would you do that, you almost gave me a heart attack," Nyla stated with her eyebrows scrunched together and a frown on her face.

"Awe,I'm so sorry boo." Skyla apologized. "I accept your apolo-" "Siiiikkkee!" Skyla interrupted her sister in the middle of her word. "Meany, that's why you came out first," Nyla told her sister.

"Thats a compliment," Skyla stated confused. Nyla smirked,"No its not because of how you ended up coming out first." "And how is that?" "They couldnt get your big ole head through so I helped them by pushing you...I just pushed a little bit too hard." "What you mean," Skyla asked with her face scrunched up.

"You ended up landing on your head,on the floor crying, i'm not sure if it was because of the bright lights or because it hurted," Nyla stated jokingly. "Ny, that's not funny, i could have had serious brain injuries!"
"Too late for that,you ain't noticed," Nyla asked this time with a serious face. "Noticed what?" "Noticed that right there."

"Right where!" "Right there!" "Right where Nyla," Skyla asked confused. "Your already dumb," Nyla shouted. "You a little coocoo too," she added mumbling under her breath.

"I am neither dumb or crazy," Skyla said in defense mode. "Ok whatever you say, and where did you come from anyway?" "The building duhh," Skyla said annoying her sister. "What door you air head," Nyla said wanting her sister to get straight to the answer she was looking for. "I came out of the gym doors," Skyla stated nonchalantly.

"Why not come out the way you went in?" "Because i didn't want Mr.Baldwin to see me." "Good point," Nyla agreed. "So can we pull off or no cause we been sitting here for hours," Skyla said ready to leave before she got caught. "Yeah, don't ask just go."

Pulling up to their house Nyla noticed a familiar car in their driveway. "What is he doing here," she asked herself surprised. "Don't worry, just get out of the car." Skyla said putting the car in park. "Ooookkaaay," Nyla said skeptical of her sister.

"Jakevion, get yo black, wanna be thug ahh out the car!" Skyla yelled. He didn't move he thought that they had something planned because he saw Skyla wisper in Nyla's ear. Nyla walked up to the car and motioned for him to roll down his window. He cracked his window a little just to hear her talk.

"Skyla said to get out of the car before she comes and drag you out." Nyla stated without thinking twice about her sister's words. Jakevion tried to hurry and lock the doors, but it was too late. Skyla had saw him motion towards the lock so she ran to the passenger side and pulled the door open. "You should have listened to the message my sister was giving you, it would have helped a lot in this situation."

Skyla reached and yanked Jakevion out of the car. "Dang with yo incredible hulk tail," Nyla giggled. "I'm not strong, he just weak," Skyla said watching Jakevion get up off the ground. "I don't know how you play sports," Skyla added shaking her head. He turned to mug Skyla but quickly took it off of his face when he saw that she was more than serious about the situation.

Walking up to the door, Jakevion wanted to run but he found that no way possible since Nyla was in front of him and Skyla was behind him holding a taser up to him once again. Opening the door Skyla yelled, "Ma, where you at!" "I'm up in here, Sky, dang stop all that yelling!" "Ma they got something to tell you," Skyla said walking in the Kitchen where her mother was. "What is it," her mother asked narrowing her eyes at Jakevion.

Nobody was speaking so Skyla spoke up. "This fool," Skyla started while pushing Jakevion up to stand next to Nyla. "got my sister pregnant." Her mother didn't say anything, she just sat there. That only fooled Jakevion into thinking everything was okay, but the girls, on the other hand, knew it was the calm before the storm.
