Chapter 3

Skyla and Nyla sat in the car headed to get something to eat so they would have enough time to figure out what to tell their mom. "So who's the daddy?" Skyla asked breaking the silence. Nyla was hesitant but she decided that her sister would find out one way or another, she knew her like the back of her hand, they were twins for Christ sake. "Jakevion," she stated quietly.

Hearing the name, Skyla almost broke her neck,because she turned around so fast, "Say it again cause I know I didn't hear that correctly." "Well there's no point of me saying it again if you already heard it," Nyla responded sarcastically. "Call him." Skyla stated in a demanding tone. Nyla grabbed her phone putting it on speaker so her sister could hear. "Hello?" Jakevion answered. "Hey," Nyla responded with tears.

"What's wrong with you, why you crying, where you at?" Jakevion asked question after question in panic not allowing her to speak. "J, I'm pregnant." Nyla stated still in tears. "Why you telling me?" "Because it's yours J, why else would I be telling you?"

" I don't know,but I know it ain't mine." " Yes it is, you are the only person I have ever been wi-,hello?" "No this nigga just did not hang up in my face." Looking up Nyla realized that they were back in the school parking lot. She turned to look at her sister confused.

"I forgot something in my locker I'll be back." Skyla said,noticing the look on her sister's face. "I can go in and get it for you if you want me to." Nyla volunteered. "Nah I'm good, you just stay here until I get back."

Filled with anger, Skyla walked into the boys locker room."Have you seen Jakevion," she asked one of the players. "Yeah he over there," the player said pointing him out. "So you just gonna dis my sister like that yo?" Skyla asked walking up on Jakevion.

"Whatchu mean, I told her that wasn't my baby." He said with just a little bit too much agressivness to his voice for Skyla's liking. "That ain't your baby?" She asked stepping a little closer towards him. "Nah that ain't my baby you can't hea- ahhhhh."

His sentence was cut short by Skyla's taser. "So that ain't yo baby," she asked again, this time tilting her head and raising her eyebrow. "N-ooooow" before he could get the full two letter word out Skyla had tased him again. He was now on the ground trying to wrap his towel that was once around his waste back onto him. He had no such luck.

"So you not the daddy?" Jakevion just gave her complete silence afraid of answering again. "Aaaaaahhhh!!!!!!" Skyla had tased him for the third time. His silence was enough to give her his answer.

"You are the daddy, and you are gonna help her take care of it." She said beginning to walk off. "Wait nope, nuh un, where yo phone at?" She asked turning back around. He was gonna tell her none of her business, but decided against that as fast as the thought came to his head.

Jakevion grabbed his phone and reached it out towards Skyla. She just looked at the phone then back at him. "What you handing it to me fah, call my sister and tell her you sorry nigga." Skyla demanded. Jakevion hurriedly dialed Nyla's number.

"Hello?" She answered on the third ring. "Hey I just wanted to let you know that I was wrong for what I said and that I am sorry, I'm gonna be there for both you and my baby." "That's great,I'm glad you made the right choice, what made you change your mind?" "Oh I just put some thought into it and felt wrong for what I said and did," Jakevion said not wanting her to know that her twin tased him into doing it.

"I'm so happy, but I have to go love you bye." Nyla squealed while hanging up. "Now back to what I was saying," Skyla interrupted his thoughts. "Meet us at our mom house after practice,although I should drag you out by yo ankles right now, she didn't make this happen by herself so she not suffering the consequences by herself." Skyla said leaving him there to his thoughts.
