Less than a minute later Eve came back with a nurse behind her. The nurse ran over and did a few tests.
"Okay... He's fine. It just seems like he got some sort of shock. Did one of you tell him something big?" asked the nurse. Eve looked over at Jax.
"Uhm.. I did." Jax admitted.
"What'd you tell him?" Eve asked, raising a brow. Jax glanced around nervously.
"I... sort of told him that I loved him." Jax tensed. Eve's eyes grew large and her jaw dropped. Both Eve and I were speechless at this point.
"Hm.. Okay. He should be fine. Just don't try to force him awake." the nurse smiled and left.
"Wait- Jax- You mean to tell me you're GAY?!" Eve's eyes looked like they were going to burst out of her skull.
"No. Not exactly.. With me, if I love someone, it's for their personality. I could care less about their gender, skin color, disorders, disabilities, I really don't care. August is everything I love in a person. If he were Asian I would still see him the same way." Jax talked with more pride than I had ever heard from anyone. Eve was completely stunned. She let his words sin in, and then blinked a few times.
"Jax... Oh my god... That was so..." Eve searched her head for the right word.
"Stupid? Idiotic?" Jax looked at his hurt arm.
"No-! What you just said was so powerful!" Eve actually had tears welling up in her eyes. Jax looked up at her, surprised.
"It just sort of.. Burst out of me. I dunno where it came from."
