Speechless

"Hobi." Taehyung said to get his attention. Hoseok looked up at him with red and watery eyes. It was time. Taehyung closed his eyes and leant forward. Everything went in slow motion, the way Taehyung cupped Hoseok's cheeks, the way Taehyung's lips met Hoseok's, the way Hoseok couldn't mutter a single word. It was in slow motion. Hoseok's mouth kept opening only to close again, he kept stroking his lips with his thumb. Did that just happen? Was it a dream?

"I have been in love with you for a while. Every time you have been sad I have wanted to kiss you. When you pulled that prank on me I got mad because I actually thought the one I was in love with was dead. You're so handsome. I can't get you out of my mind. You're the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. Lately I haven't had nightmares because you have been in my bed with me." Taehyung stopped to take a breath and looked over at Hoseok who had new tears streaming down his face. They weren't sad tears or anything, they were tears of happiness.

"I-I..." was everything Hoseok could mutter. Taehyung smiled slightly and continued talking.

"I heard your apology and I forgive you. Hoseok, you're so handsome. You're the funniest person I know, and one of the kindest as well. These feelings I have for you, have been present for 4 years, but I always swept them under the rug. I thought that being in love with your best friend and band mate was taboo, but it's one of the best things that could've happened to me." He said , his gaze still fixated on Hoseok. "I-... I think I love you." He confessed, his face red. Hoseok looked away for a short moment before turning back to look at Taehyung who was still smiling.

"I-..." he began, pulling himself together. "I-... I need to leave." He said as he hopped out of bed and headed to Jin's room.

*knock* *knock*

"Hyung, I need to talk to you." Hoseok said, out of breath and still searching for words. Jin opened the door and invited Hoseok in. Namjoon looked at the two of them. "He-who-shall-not-be-named kissed me." Hoseok quickly confessed as he slumped down on one of the chairs in the corner, Namjoon looking at him in surprise.

"Wait, he?" Namjoon asked, he didn't seem very distressed. Hoseok nodded. "Do I know the guy?" He asked. Hoseok nodded again.

"Wait, he did?" Jin asked as soon as Namjoon was done.

"Yeah, I had a panic attack thingy in the elevator and was feeling really sad when he came and lead me to our room. I kept telling him about what started my attack thingy. He just held me in his arms for the longest time and told me how handsome I am, how funny I am. Of course I didn't believe him." Hoseok took a deep breath before continuing. "I then told him how ugly I am. He called my name and I looked at him, right? He then cupped my cheeks and pecked my lips before he confessed-..." Hoseok was cut off.

"Wait, did you leave him after the kiss?!" Jin asked, both mad and shocked. Nervously Hoseok nodded and looked down at his hands. "Hoseok, do you realize what you've done? He's had feelings for you for so long and confessing to your best mates takes a lot of courage. And you have shown interest in him." Jin continued which made Hoseok feel uncomfortable. Hoseok was about to protest, but was cut off.

"He's gonna think you hate him, Hoseok!" Namjoon suddenly exclaimed. "Yeah, I just figured out who you're talking about. He's had a tough time as well. If I were you, I'd go back and kiss him. Tae really loves you." Was the last thing Namjoon said before he left the room.

"I have to go, Hyung. I have a friendship to end and a relationship to start!" He chirped as he ran out the door. He reached their hotel room and opened the door only to be met with Taehyung crying. Without muttering a word, Hoseok lifted Taehyung's chin with his index and kissed Taehyung passionately.

"I love you too." He muttered shyly in between kisses. The atmosphere was hot and intense.
