Chapter 19

The next day, Wonshik keeps clinging beside Mya all the times, not wanting her to leave at all. Well, Mya complies with anything he wants since he is sick and also she feels guilty for leaving her brother. The situation in the penthouse becomes normal but then Mya feels something off when she sees Hakyeon do nothing and watch television the whole times. Not to forget, she also saw some new books on the coffee table that he read as an evidence that Hakyeon is not going to work. Hakyeon's eyes meet the short ombre hair that is watching him with a pair of eyes of curiousity.

"Come here," HAkyeon gestures his hand for Mya to sit beside him and the ombre locks sit beside him, awkwardly.

"Don't you have work?" Mya grabs the snack on hakyeon's lap and starts munching. She feel the silence that hakyeon gave him for a few seconds until the used-to-be-assistant-director chuckles with her question.

"I was fired. I cannot focus on my job. I was worried about Wonshik. So now I am jobless," Hakyeon said with a smile on his face. However, Mya's face turns gloomy as she think that hakyeon lost his job because of her. If she hadnt left the house, they all will never have hardtime right now. Hakyeon notices the grimaces on Mya's face as he immediately turn his attention away from the television. Hakyeon never blames Mya for this. he knows what was he doing and this is also his responsibility.

"Im sorry. its all because of me. If just i didnt left the house, you wont lose your dream, Hakyeon-ah. I..... I...... Im such a bad friend to you. You can hate me, Yeon-ah," Mya starts to lose herself and in the crying mess. Its a rare scene to see Mya cries hardly which hurts Hakyeon so much. He takes Mya as his own sister and never in million years he will hate someone named Kim Mya. They hug each other for about minutes until Mya calms herself down and sees Wonshik standing at the stairs. However, Mya and Hakyeon frown when Kim wonshik got winter coat as if he is going somewhere in his weak state.

"Let's go. Meet Hyuk and Jaehwan. Hyuk called me just now, Jaehwan is in a fragile state. He.... I... Hyuk said, he might cannot.... hold any.. lo... longer,"

Mya furiously march into the ward that place Jaehwan and immediately stop right in front of the door. She is thinking what Jaehwan will think about and how... just how she would react if Hyuk is together with him. His legs, hands and heart, them all said go and barge into the room but her mind is somehow stopping her to do so. She feel ashamed to face Jaehwan and Hongbin because of her childish acts for running away from home and doesnt want her to be near with Hyuk anymore. Hence, a loud sigh release from her mouth and caught Wonshik's and Hakyeon's attention.

Wonshik places his hand on his sister's shoulder, assuring the youngest that she would be fine. They would be fine. Say Wonshik, Jaehwan wants to meet Mya so much until one day he fell in the bathroom and his condition began worsened. Mya nods her head and slowly knock on the door. After hearing a soft 'come in' she finally gain her courage to twist the door knob and peek her head.

There. The one that she missed the most, the one who bring the light into her dull love life now with a black updo hair. She couldn't care less anymore. Mya follow her heart to reach out the black locks guy and ran into his embrace. Sanghyuk is very shock from the first time Mya peek her head, he couldn't think straight. Hyuk didn't blink his eyes even a bit and his minds keep saying its just a dream whereas it isn't. Mya release the hug and cups Hyuk's face in disbelief. They finally get back together with Wonshik's approval but then hands off from each other when Hakyeon scoffs from behind.

"I know you miss each other and would want to kiss here and there but, Ms. Kim Mya get your head straight please,"

Mya mentally face palmed because of her sudden act but her hands still not leaving Hyuk's when her eyes gaze softly on the sleeping Jaehwan.

"How was he?" Mya grab a chair to sit beside Jaehwan.

"No good... I just, I dont want to lose him. Jaehwan hyung is very weak.... I don't know.... what to do. I—"

"Its okay, Hyuk-ah. Im okay," Jaehwan opens his eyes slowly and smile. He turns his eyes on Mya that is now holding his hands. Jaehwan grants her a small smile.

"You're.... I thought—" Mya cut him off when Jaehwan have a hard time to even takk right now. His condition is not helping at all and he still get the smile on his face, gets Mya all frustrated.

"Jaehwan oppa, lets get you treated in US. I will pay for all. You need to be healthy, I promise," Mya still not leaving Jaewhan's hand and sharply divert her eye gaze towars Jaehwan. Jaehwan is someone important to Hyuk and of course she wants them all to live happily. Jaehwan is the one thta bring her here, meeting her brother and knock some sense for her to come back. But Jaehwan only chuckles after listen to Mya's plea. Said he doesn't want to go and he cannot be treated already.

"You remember, I told you that I need you to do a favor for me," Mya nods and complies with anything Jaehwan needs.

"Marry Hyuk before I go to the heaven," Jaehwan softly mutters those words that he really need Mya to do. All the person in the ward all in shock especially Sanghyuk. He really has no idea about that, about what Jaehwan want him to marry Mya. That is what the couple want to do but.... they are still new. Hyuk and Mya are just being a couple only after the kiss at the event and of course, its undeniable that Mya wants to marry Hyuk because she liked him first. But Hyuk is stunned for the sudden favour from Jaehwan. Wonshik is about to complain but he suddenly stop when Mya and Hyuk said a same thing.

"Yes," Mya and Hyuk simultaneously agree with him. Eyes on eyes, the brown orbs of Kim Mya diverts on Hyuk's black one. Thin line starts to form on their lips as Hyuk yanks his face forward and kiss her on the lips.

"But, Jaehwan oppa. With one condition, you have to be treated in US. Fight for us and yourself. I will get the best doctor for you even this guy here is already a doctor,"

Jaehwan feels the sincerity in her eyes that is shaking and nods his head. Hyuk never been this happy before, he even pick Mya up by her waist and swing her around in the ward, ignoring the two pairs of sharp eyes that are watching them intensely. Jaehwan finally agreed on the treatmeat and Sanghyuk received the approval of Kim Wonshik to have Mya as his wife.
