Chapter6- Not around

((A/N: sorry if I wasn't able to update sooner cause I was having a writers block))

Everyone were seated with an eerie silence inside the world conference room, which the meeting was held in Europe. Its been five days since you and Canada haven't contacted each other since the incident. Seychelles already informed the other female nations about Canada's situation when she saw him crying on his plane seat, she hasn't told (y/n) yet cause she didn't want you to worry about Mathew, while our dear (y/n) was seated on the with the other female nations beside Hungary, contemplating on why her best friend, Mattie have been avoiding her these past few days. She called,texted,emailed and heck nothing seems to work.

Elizabeta noticed (y/n)'s dazed self and asked if you were fine or if you needed anything that she can help you with, but politely declined her offer and answered that you were just thinking about something (or someone *smirks*).

" thanks for being concern for me Liz, but I assure you I'm perfectly fine"(y/n) reassured the Hungarian.

"if you say so, but don't forget that us girls need to stick together since were surrounded with *looks around the room*....idiots. anyway if you ever need someone to talk to just let me know, OK? " Hungary said while gently patting (y/n) shoulder.

"thanks Liz that's greatly appreciated"

The meeting started without the north American twins attending and everybody has yet to notice except for a (h/c) haired nation who seems confused at the current situation. She might not know America well but Canada, well one thing for sure is that she knows that that maple loving country is not a person to be absent, sure he's seldom gets late but not to the point to be absent in this kind of stuff especially (y/n)'s first world meeting that leaved her with a painful sensation in her chest.

"hey wait a minute, where's America anyway?" the Brit asked. " that moron if only he could be more responsible and act his age."

'finally someone who noticed'

"not only that, I feel that there's this invisible person who should be joining us today but I can't seem to put my finger who this person is" the Frenchmen implied. " but I have a feeling that he's someone I took under my wing when his young"

' they must be talking about Canada. poor guy, am I really the only one who notices him?'

"no wonder today's meeting is a little quite cause America isn't here, Aru" said China.

"England can you go check on America when this meeting is done" Germany requested.

"why me?"

" because unlike us, you were once America's guardian and he's bound to open up to you more than the rest of us" Germany said in a matter of fact.

"fine, but I'm only doing it to scold that twat for his behavior"

"good, now that its settled lets presume the meeting"

"wait! how about Mathew?"(y/n)asked as all the attention went to her.

"who?" they asked.

"y'know Mathew Williams the personification of the country Canada, the guy who always carry a white polar bear" then awkward for an entire minute filled the room.

"oh that Canada, the one who looks like America but has beautiful french hair like moi"

'took you long enough to remember your own past colony'

"isn't it odd that both twins are absent at the same time?" Japan asked.

"da, you're right I hope nothing bad happened to them" Russia said as he emitted dark aura that scared the shit out of some countries which (y/n) was oblivious to.

Germany cleared his throat and broke the tense atmosphere." if that's the case, (c/n) will you go and check on Canada then."

"I-I'll, uuummm-er, well...."(y/n) stuttered unsure of what to answer. 'should I go and talk to him, its been days since we've seen each other, but what if he doesn't want to see me?, dang it! I'm so confused'

Sensing your unease Hungary who was seated next to (y/n) looked at France and mouthed 'do something!' to him. France immediately volunteered to take (y/n)'s place in checking on Canada. Before (y/n) can protest the meeting proceeded thus ending the topic.

"don't worry (y/n), I'm sure your 'boyfriend' just needed some parental talk, if that's the right term to use ,in order for you guys to run off into the sunset" Hungary teased.

"Liz stop talking nonsense, its not funny at all!" (y/n) whisper yelled at the amused brunetteas (y/n) was trying to hide her blush.

"whatever you say"

The meeting went on like a blur not even noticing that it was already done. France and England immediately went on their way to check on the twins along with the other countries who went about their business. The girls that remained were Seychelles,Taiwan and of course Hungary so the three invited you to have a bonding time and went sight seeing to their respective countries to get your mind off stress.

Meanwhile, England and France took the next flight to north America wondering if it was pure coincidence that the twins didn't come to the meeting at the same time or is there another reason behind it?....little did they know that the answer connects to one specific nation.
