Immortal Love

I wake up in a grungy mood. I rub my eyes before I get myself out of bed. I put on a pale pink skirt and the tank top I wore yesterday, not feeling like searching. I put on a pale pink hoodie and some sandals.

I look at myself in the mirror and I grimace. I pull my hair into a sloppy bun before I trudge down the stairs. Bella greets me; she is in her usual ensemble, jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket.

"Ready to go school shopping?" She asks as I finish my cup of coffee.

I nod and I shuffle behind her. I climb into the truck as she starts the thing up. I turn the heat on before she pulls out of the driveway. She drives up to Port Angeles.

We make it to Walmart and we walk inside the store together. Dad had given Bella money before he left for work this morning. We go to the stationary section and we grab what we need.

Bella stops by a McDonald's and she goes through the drive through. We are both ready to be home. I feel exhausted today. I roll my window down to enjoy the nature as I eat my Big Mack and fries.

I carry my things to my room when we make it home. I close my door and I get my school stuff ready and in my bag. We start school tomorrow. I open my window to let air in as I clean up my room. I fold my think blanket up and lay it on the chair by my bed. My bed is against the window, so I love it. Dad knows my love for the outside.

I shut and lock my window before pulling my hoodie off. I go down to the living room and I go to the news. It is supposed to me raining tomorrow. I guess boots and a jacket.

I decide I want to cook tonight. I make a meatloaf. Dad walks in as I take it out of the oven and make the boiled potatoes. Dad kisses my head before he pulls his jacket off. Bella walks in and she smiles at me.

We all sit in silence and we eat our supper that I cooked. Dad keeps getting ketchup in his mustache. I have a smile on my face as I wash up the dishes. I walk up to my room and I change into some pajamas.

I lay in my bed and I face the window. I stare out into the darkness until sleep takes over my mind.
