I am nervous when I wake up on Monday morning. I begin school today, and it is the middle of the semester. I hope I do okay enough to pass on to senior year. I shake the feeling of nervousness off before I get out of bed.

I put on some paint stained skinny jeans and a pink sweater with black birds on in. I put my boots on then my hooded jacket. I straighten my hair before I grab my bag. I go downstairs and Bella is drinking coffee with dad.

"Have a good day, girls." Dad calls as we make it to the truck.

Bella starts up the engine before I turn the heat on. I reach over and turn the wipers on while Bella drives when it begins to sprinkle rain. I sit back against my seat again as Bella drives on the wet roads.

She finds a parking spot pretty easily, luckily. I get out of the truck before she does and I spot the Cullen's across the lot, all of them but Jasper. Alice waves me over. I kiss Bella's cheek and I run over to my group of vampire friends.

"Hey, Alice." I smile. "Hi everyone."

"Hey, B." Emmett greets. "Jasper is hunting." He whispered 'hunting'.

I nod my head. "I thought so. So, where is the office at?"

"Follow me." Rosalie says with a smile.

I follow behind blondie into the building. People are staring at me as I pull my jacket off. Rosalie and I did the office and I get my schedule.

1st - World History - Mr. Crowe
2nd - Home Ec. - Miss Rosie
3rd - Calculus - Mrs. Molina
4th - Biology - Mr. Molina.
LUNCH
5th - Gym - Coach Rivers
6th - Study Hall - Library

Rosalie has 2,3, and 5th periods with me. She walks me to my World History class across the school. I thank her before entering the room on. I have Mr. Crowe sign the slip before taking a seat. According to the teacher, Jasper is supposed to be beside me. He just isn't here today.

That class was a breeze. I find Home ec. with the help of Jessica Stanley, one of Bella's friends. She has this with another one of Bella's friends, Angela Webber. I sit with Alice Cullen and Rosalie Hale in this class.

"I like your jeans." Rosalie compliments. "Where'd ya get them?"

"Phoenix mall." I reply. "I like fashion and I love the outdoors."

Their ears perk up and they smile. Our assignment today is to design a shirt from jeans. I am grouped with my friends and I make a halter top with jeans and a belt. Alice takes it after it is graded with an A so she can put it in her closet.

I have biology with Edward Cullen and my sister, Bella. Edward keeps glaring at Bella with dark eyes. Is her blood more appealing than others?

Edward nods and he holds his breath. Bella smells her hair, to see if she stinks. Oh Bella, it's your blood. Edward shoots out f his chair a few seconds before the bell rings. I walk with Bella to the lunch room.

Alice drags me to her table when I get my food. I send my sister an apologetic smile before I sit between Alice and Rosalie.

"Hey again, B." Emmett laughs. "Welcome to table de Cullen."

I smirk. "Glad to be of your presence."

They all laugh and I take a bite f my chicken strips. Edward is glaring at Bella again. He throws a piece of chicken down when she looks at him. Jessica told her who they were when they entered the cafeteria.

"I will gone ft a few days." Edward tells me. "Tell your sister I'll be fine."

I nod. "I'll tell her you are visiting family."

"In Alaska." He says.

"In Alaska." I agree.

He thanks me as they bell rings. Emmett is in my Gym class too. He smirks at me before he goes to the guys dressing room. This is going to be fun; he doesn't know how athletic I can he. I love a good game of dodge ball.

School ends and I am still happy about beating the boys in soccer. Emmett and Rosalie are giving me a ride home because Bella told me she was riding up to Port Angeles with Jessica and Angela.

"It's supposed to be hot tomorrow." Rosalie says. "We won't be at school."

I nod. "I'll sit with Bella."

They nod and drop me off. I walk inside and dad is home. He smiles softly at me and he offers me a soda. It is a Vanilla Coke. I smile as I open the bottle of soda.

"How was your first day?" He asks.

"Great!" I chirp. "I loved it."

He smirks. "Good." 

"I'm tired; I'm going to bed." I miss dad on the cheek.

I go up to my room and I change into some pajamas. Jasper flashes in my room and scares me. He smiles before he sits on the chair by bed. I have put my thicker blanket back in the closet.

"My dad is right downstairs." I whisper.

"Nope." He says calmly. "He left for work late."

"I forgot he did night shift during the week too." I mumble. "What are you doing up here?"

He sighs. "I want to try something." He moves to sit on my bed with me. "Don't move."

I obey and I remain still. He places a hand on my knee and his other hand on my cheek. He leans in and he places his lips onto mine. He flies away and he lands on my wall.

"I thought I was strong enough." He growls.

"You did great, for your new diet." I say. The family told me about Jasper.

He closes his eyes and sits with me again. "I did, didn't I?"

He gets next to the wall as I rest in his arms. He kisses my head tenderly before he lets me fall asleep on his arms.
