Ch 3 . Noah Scott

*Jason's P.O.V*

"You think that will be easier?" I smirked in question as the guys nodded up at me . Standing around a map of the city was pretty cool . Looking down at the map , I shook my head . "I'm not so sure , maybe it would be easier if we took it slow" . I heard a loud humble cackle bounce off of the walls and looked up to see Mason grinning . "Are you dating this gang or taking it down?" . 

Just as I was about to snap back at him , Ashton came into the lounge . "You guys want some soda?" she asked with a kind , soothing smile on her lips as she opened the cooler "I'll take one!" Riley put his hands out as Ash threw one to him . "I going over to Freddi's so if you need anything while I'm out just let me know" she said as she snapped open her own can of soda . "Why ? Did you douche get his nuts kicked in by that chick he was with?" I grinned . 

She caught her breath and snapped me a glare "Jason!" but it was clear she wanted to giggle too . "I'll be back at about 3...ish . Don't have too much fun without me , oh and call me if--" 

"Yeah , whatever tuts , we got you . Now go" Mason snickered as he flapped her away dismissively . Before leaving , she pressed her lips softly against my cheek , her lipgloss leaving a stick . "Bye guys" she waved as she exited the front door .

Ashton's P.O.V*

"You didn't make much of a show the other night , you know when we got chased?" I asked . Freddi still lived in the house him and Jason use to share . I don't think he's still quite happy with me about the decision I made , well , me and Jason made . No matter what he says , I can still see he's annoyed with me . "Sorry , I was too busy pulling kernels out of my hair" he smirked as he searched his hair with his fingers , pulling out a small piece of popcorn "Oh , there's another" he sighed in a smile as he propped it on the counter . 

I made a weak smile as I looked up at him , he looked tired . Bags of grey shimmers coated under his eyes as he looked down at me . He looked sore , as if every muscle was a weight pulling him down . "You don't look good , Freddi ." I sighed as I pinned a brown soft curl of his hair away from his eyes . He said nothing as I danced my eyes over his . "Are you sure your alright?" . Grabbing hold of my hand , he squeezed it slightly in reassurance . I stared up at him as he smiled weakly . 

"You know you can tell me anything , right?" I nodded as I waited for his answer "No matter how bizarre or weird it might be" I smirked but he showed no emotion . It was like talking to someone behind a glass wall . "That's all I'v ever known" he smiled . Relived to have an answer , I smiled and looked to the floor . "Then tell me what's up , I didn't come here for nothing you know . Don't think I'm death when I'm waiting for you to answer your phone , listening to countless of rings".

"I won't lie to you , It's not worth it . You know me better then anyone and lying to you will only make things worse . I'm not my best ." He pressed himself against the counter , arms folded as he looked down at me . "I can see that" I smiled "Just tell me why your looking like this" . Shivering , he held me by the shoulders "Your putting yourself into a mess Ash and before you cut me off , hear me out ok?" . I stared at him in confusion as he continued "That gang you guys are looking for , they're absolute phycopaths ! I came across them once when I was doing some work for Jason . They were here about a year ago , left and now they're back and it looks like they know exactly what they're doing" a shaking breeze of silence fell over us as we stared at one another . 

"What do you mean 'came across them' ? Did you talk to them?.."

"No , it was an old hotel I was at . The business was with some guy named Noah , they were there. Lingering in the background all in red and black . I asked who they were and Noah told me , although he had nothing to do with them , it was some guy upstairs who was dealing with them ." he shook his head as he ran a hand nervously through his hair . "I didn't tell Jason about them , why would I've back then?" . I grazed my teeth along my bottom lip before scratching the back of my neck in thought . "This Noah guy , do you still know him?" I asked . I had an idea and a good one too .
