Your love for me was complicated as were mine,
we seemed like Icarus and the Sun and how Icarus even though his wings were made from feathers and wax he tried his very best in his relationship with the sun.
I suppose the sun didn't acknowledge the fact that Icarus was there she never realised how much he meant until he was gone.
She warned him at the start that she'd hurt him, "I'll melt your heart" she said,
he took the risk he flew out to her with his heart on his sleeve and left her in the process.
You could say Icarus loved her more as it would be made out that way but if it was really like that then why did he make his wings out of wax if he knew the dangers that lay ahead?
If you love someone, don't let them go.
