Fluffy black hair blocked your view as your eyes fluttered open. In the night, Kankri must have snuggled closer to you. Awww. You ran your hands through his black hair.

He shifted in his sleep, humming softly. It would be best to act carefully; a moment like this was rare in your house. It was so quiet and peaceful. You loved your matespirit Kankri, but once he started talking, it would take a miracle to stop him. His face was so peaceful too. His lips drew your closer. You were about to kiss him when,

"Do you need something (y/n)? I find it very triggering that you were staring at me in my sleep. #staring"
