Chapter 5: Aunty Leia

JYN'S POV:

We shake hands.

I look at the time on my watch.

"Oh, it's getting late. I should get going, I still have to pick up those cupcakes from Aunty Leia." I sigh.

He looks at his watch too.

"Oh yeah, it is getting late. I guess I should go too."

I smile.

"Are you sure you arm and head is fine?"

"Yeah, yeah, it's fine you can go."

I nod. And got up to leave.

"Oh wait! Um, Jyn!"

I turn back around.

"Can I have your number? Um so, ya know if anythi-"

"Sure."

I walk back to the bench and sat back down. I tore a piece of paper from my notebook and took my pen. I write my number down and passed it back to him.

"Thanks!"

"No problem."

I walk away towards Aunty Leia's bakery.

CASSIAN'S POV:

Jyn Erso, what a nice name.

I got her number too. Amazing. I travel into someone's dream and meet that someone in real life. That hardly happens. Hardly.

I sit there staring into the sunset. It was beautiful.

And then I realise I didn't give her my number.

"Shit."

I face-palm myself.

I look at the time on my watch. It was getting really late now. Aunty Leia's bakery was gonna close in exactly 3 minutes. I had to run. Again.

Why am I always running?

I got of the bench and sprinted to Aunty Leia's bakery.
I ran as fast as I can. They were cleaning up the birthday party that we bumped into earlier. Now Aunty Leia's bakery was just across the road.

I got there just in time.

To see Aunty Leia closing.

I face-palm my face again. So hard. That it hurt.

"Cassian? Is that you?"

I look up to see Aunty Leia unlocking back the door of the bakery.

"Aunty Leia! Do you mind if I come in and pick up the cupcakes that I ordered for my mother?"

"No, no I don't mind at all. Please come in."

"Thanks."

I walk across the bakery and look left and right. I ran across the road. Aunty Leia was smiling at me.
"The cupcakes are just on top of the counter at the back. Can you take it?"
