Chapter 3

"Kali and Niko!" Kuma Kai Pueo yelled.

"Eia nei!" Me and Niko awnsered back.

"Maika'i, go to the bus to get on, y'all are goin to Miami, right?"

"Yes." We awnsered.

We went outside and hoped on the 12 bus.

The 12 bus took us to The airport.

At the airport we said Aloha to Kuma Kai Pueo and got on the plane.

Niko told me not to use Hawaiian in this gnarly book.

So I, Kali Samuel, will not use Hawaiian in this book again.

My English is very shaky, so do not expect me to use contraptions!

On my cell I looked up some facts on Miami.

My fav fact is that Miami is a pro surf site.

When the plane landed we hoped off and took a stretch.

Gosh, this is hard translating everything we say into English.

I forgot my name is Tara and Niko's name is Nick.

"Hello, Tara and Nick, I'm Sam Kinzell, your tourist!" Our tourist/ helper Sam said.

"Hi Sam, so what hotel are we cruise in in to?" I asked Him.

"Miami Beach View Inn."

"Gnarly!" I said.

"Ugh." Nick said.

I have a crush on Nick.

His Other crush, Nicki Soling, is totally fightin me.

I totally follow him.😍😍

"Yah, Ugh this hotel is goin to be to gnarly small, gnarly." I said.

"No one wants to look at the stupid waves,mand totally not smell 'em in their room!" Nick said.

"What Nick said." I said.

"Tara, why do you think everything I do and say you totally should do and say?" He asked.

"We'll um." I said staring at the cement floor of the airport.

"I know that you know that Nicki is my girlfriend!" He said.

"What?!?!" I screamed.

I ran right out the doors of the airport.

I sat in a corner, weaping into my knees, when I heard Sam's voice yelling,

"Tara, Tara!"

Sam finally found me and sat down beside me.

"It's ok T, there's plenty of fish in the Miami sea!"

"Really?"

"Yah, of course like this guy Dixon, he's staying in the Inn, come with me."

"Ok."

I got up and followed Sam to the taxi that took us to the Inn.

I dared not even make eye contact with Nick.

I looked out the window with tears in my eyes.

I just couldn't believe Nick was dating snobby Nicki.

I guess Nick thought Nicki was cool, everyone did.

No one found her girlfriend worthy.

Apparently Nick did.
