Not really sure with this one... But it depends on if people like it, if they do, I'll continue it.
*IMAGINE*
Ben Stiller - Harold
Nash Grier - Elliott
Selena Gomez - Skylar
“I’m coming! I’m coming!” Elliott whined as he made his way up to the front door. He quickly yanked it open only to reveal his neighbor, Harold standing on his porch. He was an old man, probably in his sixties, but he looked young for his age, he looked like he could be in his forties. Harold wasn’t really a nice man, every time Elliott would grab his skateboard and skate around the neighborhood, Harold would just grunt and mumble curse words under his breath.
Elliott rolled his eyes and slammed the door shut in Harold’s face, only for Harold to bang on it again, this time louder. He finally gave in and opened the door again, still seeing Harold standing on his front porch.
“What do you want?” Elliott grumbled, he did not want to see Harold at all, especially this early in the morning.
“Look I’m not coming here to argue with you, I just want you to meet somebody.” He said, pulling a girl into his view.
This girl was gorgeous, Elliott could tell that. She had dark brown, almost black, hair, and light green eyes. She still had braces but her teeth were straight. She was wearing a white v neck shirt and a black pair of shorts, with white converse to match. It was summer in southern California, they lived about 15 minutes away from a desert so he could understand why she was wearing such clothes at 9:00 in the morning. He couldn’t stop staring at her beauty, he almost forgot that Harold was standing right next to her.
Harold coughed and continued to talk. “This is Skylar, she is my granddaughter.”
Elliott tore his eyes off of Skylar and stared blankly at his neighbor. “Why did you bring her here?” He asked him, a little confused on why Harold, the grumpy old man who hated his guts, brought his beautiful granddaughter to his house at such an early time.
Harold rolled his eyes “Because I want you to keep her company today while I run some errands, and knowing Sky, she will complain the whole time we’re gone.”
“I do not!” Skylar exclaimed, crossing her arms over her chest and puffed. Her voice was soft and quiet so it didn’t really make much of a difference. Elliott couldn’t believe it, even her voice was pretty.
“Sure” Elliott simply said.
Harold patted his shoulder, earning a weird glance from Elliott. “I’ll pay you afterwards” He said as he began to turn around off the porch.
“No money needed, I’ll do it for free” Elliott smiled at the two. “Thank you” Harold mouthed as he continued to walk off.
“Want to come inside?” He asked her and held the door open wide so she could walk in. She smiled and walked in, taking a look at her surroundings.
“Oh my goodness! Is this you?” She giggled, looking at a photo of Elliott and his little brother Sam. Elliott had chocolate on his face, making a dumb face while Sam was cracking up, pointing at his stupid brother.
Elliott wouldn’t have been embarrassed if it was a picture of him as a child, but he was embarrassed by the fact that the picture was taking a few months ago, on Elliott’s birthday.
Skylar showed him the picture and smiled brightly. “This is so adorable”
“Not really” He murmured. “Are you hungry? I went shopping yesterday.” He walked down the hall and entered the kitchen, Skylar following after.
“You went shopping? What about your mother? Or your father?” She asked him, taking a seat on the bar stool at the counter.
“My mom works all the time and my dad left” He said, looking through the cupboards and pantry. “What do you want? We have waffles, cereal, oatmeal, anything” he smiled at her.
