"(y/n).. Its been.. a long time- what happened to you?," Kevin asked with a concerned look when he saw the scratches on your face. "Oh, it was something stupid," you said with a smile. It has been a long time that you hadnt seen him. It was kind of strange to find him here, especially since you have a child wandering around. He simply nodded at your words.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, curious as to what you were doing sitting down. He mostly wanted to hint at your earlier concentration on the floor. "Oh. I brought my son Aiden to play a bit," you said as your mind began roaming around Jimin. Kevin seemed taken back by your words and began wondering a lot more about you.

"Oh! You have a son now? D-did you get married? Or are you just with your partner? or-" he asked, curious about your past after him. You sat down, offering him the seat across from you. He sat down but never took his eyes off of you, eyeing you constantly in surprise on how good you looked still, possibly even better than before. "Yeah. I got married with Jimin. Remember him?" you asked with a slight smile. He nodded with a small smile, remembering him. "He's also Aiden's father, obviously," you said, looking down at the table.

He stayed quiet, wanting you and how you seemed changed, more mature and much more beautiful. "But, a lot has happened since, well, us," you shrugged, glancing at him, "I think its too long of a story to tell you. But how have you been? Married? Children?" you asked. He fixed his position on the chair and sighed, "Uh nope. Neither. I dated a girl for two years but she ended up saying I was too jealous of a guy for her."

You smiled, laughing a bit. He really was jealous and that was the reason why you two had broken up in the first place. "Ahh, well, you and I probably would've been together still if you weren't so jealous," you said, making him think. "(y/n), sometimes I think about how we ended and I feel like we never finished off in a good way," he said. Duh. You sat back, keeping your eyes on him. "Well yeah, you just accused me and ran off like a little bi-"

"I knooooow, I know. I think my jealousy has fucked me up bad," he said. You nodded, agreeing with him and said, "I never cheated on you. You ended things yourself," you said to where he stared at the table, wondering about much. "hey (y/n), what do you think would have happened if we never broke up? Do you think we would've lasted?" he asked. He sounded quite serious. You watched him and how he looked around attempting to figure his words. You saw that same nervousness from the day he asked you to b his girlfriend, but you didnt feel the same way anymore. You were married to Jimin, you loved him and would never think of anyone else the way you think of Jimin, even if you two were in trouble.

"I do," you said, "I think we would've been pretty solid. I cant deny it. We were pretty good together," you said, hoping to make him feel a bit more at ease. "I wish things wouldve happened that way," he said, smiling away from you, as if he regretted the past. You remained silent again, looking away from him, not being able to agree. "Which one is your boy?" he asked, his eyes focused on the bunch of children playing. You looked over with him, looking for the boy with the blue sweater. "There, the little boy with the blue sweater and the black converse," you said, pointing at him. "He's so handsome," Kevin said, "he looks just like Jimin." Those words took you by surprise. You thought so too.

Aiden walked over and took a sip of his water, "mommy I'm tired of being here. Can we walk around?" he asked as he wrapped his arm around yours, shy because of the man that sat in front of his mother. You nodded, getting up, "shall we go?" you asked Kevin. He nodded with a smile, glad that you didnt say you were leaving.

You both walked around and spoke a lot more, joked, laughed, and just remembered the past. There was in no way any hints of wanting each other, from your end at least. You both parted ways after Aiden said he was hungry. As you sat at a restaurant, Aiden swung his feet around and asked you a question, "who even was that?" he asked, playing with the restaurants menu. "He was an old- friend. His name is Kevin," you said, smiling at your son who looked at you with huge eyes. "Oh," he said, zoning out in thought.
