"She denied it ma'am."

"She said she didn't know who stabbed her?"

"Yes. There was a report made, but the police never looked too deep into it so it was closed down after the family stopped insisting."

"What? What kind of cops were they if they couldn't even help the family. My god," lieutenant Lee said with a frustrated grunt, "It must've been Jae Seong. We can assume that but we need to know."

Detective Kim sighed, looking away for a moment, "we haven't found any evidence. We don't even have a clue where to start investigating. There's just nothing that leads to a possibility that Mr.Park murdered Seong." He tapped the folder on his thigh, "lieutenant, may I interrogate the suspect? I have a few questions that may give us more," he said. Lieutenant Lee nodded agreeing, "let's go," she said.

The lieutenant stood in the room behind the one way mirror as Hojin was taken into the interrogative room where he would be questioned and monitored.

"Why am I here again? I told you what I had to say," Hojin said.

"We are trying to find the truth so we will question you as many times necessary. Tell me the truth if you want the questions to stop. Now tell me, you said your dad was murdered by your victims husband and that's why you kidnapped her?" He asked. The whole thing seemed too movie like to the detective. Hojin nodded, looking at him in the eyes, "yes! Yes he did. He killed my father!" Hojin said in an angry tone. "Did your father hurt Mrs.Park before he was murdered?"

"I don't know! I don't give a shit if he did. She deserved it. That fucking bitch and her husband should be jailed up not me!" He said as he began getting more violent. "Sir, but how did you know it was Mr.Park who murdered your father? How are you so certain? Did you see him commit the crime?" The detective asked him, staring him down.

"No. I didn't fucken see him but if I did I would fucking-"

"Just answer the question. Then how do you know?" He asked Hojin, emphasizing the question more. Hojin looked around the room before answering, "I- asked around the place where I the last time I heard from him and a lady that works around a restaurant there told me she saw him. She said she saw him getting killed by that boy! She said!"

The detective seemed interested in whoever this woman was. "What's her name?" He asked Hojin, and Hojin answered, thinking this was all in help for his release , "Nani is her name I think." Detective Kim got up and headed to the door. He looked over at the officer by the door, "we're done here." The lieutenant also urged the matter and met the detective outside the room, "what's the address? We need a photograph of Mr.Park so that he can be recognized," he said.  She shook her head, "it'll be more effective to get a description if she truly saw him," she said as she grabbed her badge and placed it around her collar.

They headed to the place where Seong was allegedly murdered, based on Hojins confession statement, "I hope she's still there," he said as he drove himself and the lieutenant there. "Do you think Mr.Park really committed murder? What if Hojin is shitting all over us?" He lieutenant asked, almost only asking herself. "There's possibilities. There's been fucked up cases. We can't skip anything," he said. She remained quiet for a moment before speaking, "Mr.Park and his wife have been close since childhood. If Seong did hurt Mrs.Park, her husband would have a reason to hurt Seong and possibly kill him. Maybe as revenge? Seong was reported missing a few months after Mrs.Park was hurt, but we don't even know if it was Seong who hurt her nor if Jimin killed him. We have no evidence to prove either thing," she said. "He could be at a beach drinking a fucking margarita for all we know. We don't even know if he's dead," Detective Kim said.

They both arrived to the site Hojin had stated to have spoken to the woman. They got down. Lieutenant Lee fixed her collar and badge as she looked at the entire street, "I guess we ask all the stores," she said, realizing Hojin never mentioned which restaurant of many it was. They went through every restaurant, asking for Nani or if they knew about a murder, but they all denied it. They entered one restaurant and a spoke with one of the waitresses, "excuse me," Lieutenant Lee said as she showed the waitress her badge, "is Ms.Nani working in this restaurant? Or previously?" She asked. The waitress seemed to have recognized the name, "oh! Y-yes! Wait here," she said as she walked away seeming ver nervous. All the people they had asked reacted nervously, but she seemed a bit too nervous.
