~Two

I'm walking on train tracks.

It's dark and i can barely see a thing.

I see a sudden flash of light come from some bushes on the side moving behind me.

My whole body tenses and my breathing quickens.

"Who's there?"

Don't turn around. Don't turn around. Just walk and you'll be okay.

I start walking quickly to try and avoid whoever or whatever is behind me.

I hear a mere whisper that I couldn't make out, but was enough to send chills down my body.

At this point I'm walking even faster, almost a light jog, quickening my pace every couple of minutes.

I then heard a loud growl right beside my ear.

I let out a scream and start running with everything i have.

I'm running blind not seeing what's infront of me and considering it's dark outside, i could see even less.

All of a sudden i stop running which catches my attention..

I'm suddenly falling.

I'm falling.

I'm falling?

Oh. My. God. I'm falling.

This cannot be happening!

All i see is darkness.

Wait a tree? Another one?

Ouch. OUCH!

I'm falling onto twigs, branches, sticks and rocks.

I stumble on hills and all of a sudden i feel a sharp pain on my head, ribs, wrist and my leg.

It's then I realized I stopped falling.

I very carefully and cautiously turn my body so that I'm looking upwards and see nothing but the dark sky, but it's not dark enough for me not to notice a dark shadow coming closer and closer from the corner of my eye.

"Hello sweety, why are you escaping from me?" The voice is deep and dark.

Looking for a kill.

Looking for revenge.

"You'll never get away from me, no matter how hard you try!" The voice comes closer to me and I shut my eyes as this dark shadow makes its way over to my limp and aching body.

And then i feel hands on my throat.

The preassure growing tighter and my breathing coming out more shallow and short.

I can't breathe.

There's no air.
