"Uzumaki? Why does that sound so familiar?" I asked slowly, mostly to myself.
"It's familiar to you because it is the name of my father. He's someone who is very dear to you. Here..." he said holding his hand out towards me "Let me show you"
I placed my hand in his but I hesitated to make a move. I didn't know this person. I didn't know anything. My mind a blank. Could I trust him? But he knew someone
from my past and he had promised to help me remember again right? I guess I had no choice but to go with him.
"Kasumy-San?" he asked me with concern in his eyes "Are you OK? I promise I won't let anything happen to you"
"Kasumy?" I asked meekly "Is that my name?"
He paused to look, his smile tainted by pity before replying "You are known by many names within your world but to those who matter, you are Kasumy.
That's the name given to you by your parents. Kasumy. Kasumy Uchiha. Take my hand and allow me to show you how you got to this point"
"Kasumy Uchiha" I whispered softly to myself. I now had one thing that was mine. I took a step towards him and in that moment everything around us blurred before snapping
into focus again. We were in a village, or rather the outskirts of one. Yuki seemed to be watching someone. He gestured for me to come closer informing me.
"Don't worry. They can't see us!"
I moved to his side and my eyes travelled to whoever it was he was looking at. Sitting together under a tree was a young couple. They were so obviously
besotted with each other as they gazed lovingly into each others eyes. I smiled slightly and asked the inevitable question.
"Who are they?"
"Hikari Senju and Raiden Uchiha. Your parents" replied Yuki with a smile on his handsome face. I gazed at him, studying his features. Why was he so familiar to me?!
He turned to look at me suddenly catching me staring and I turned away sharply, returning my eyes to the young couple under the tree. But,,,they were gone now.
I looked around me as we were now in the centre of the village. It was bustling with people going about their daily business when suddenly I saw the raven haired girl
from the clearing, in the crowd moving slowly towards us. I took a step towards her but Yuki placed his hand on my shoulder halting me.
"It's not you" he said "Look closer" and as I did I saw that the young woman was heavily pregnant and walking with her was another woman who was also pregnant.
"It's your mother and the woman with her is Mikoto Uchiha, the woman who would later help raise you"
I looked sharply at Yuki. "Help raise me? You mean my parents..." my voice trailed off but the question hung in the air. 'Did they die?' Yuki's eyes looked at the ground
and our surroundings changed once again. We were in a room watching the couple once again. The woman had just given birth but she looked extremely weak as she lay
on the bed. I moved quickly to her side and placed my hand hesitantly on her face.
"Mom" I said as I felt her shiver at my touch.
"Just hold on Hikari. Help will be here any minute. You need to hold on, our babies need you. I can't do it without you" cried my father, obviously distressed.
My mother's eyes met mine for a moment and I faltered as she whispered to me "You look so transparent. You lo..You look like mist"
"What did you say?" my father asked her "Something about mist?"
