I'm sinking
No.
I'm being pulled
So deep,
I may as well just swim down.
There's so much pain
But you can't see it
Nobody can
My eyes hide the tears
Because I'm so broken I can't cry
My sleeves cover my scars
Because I've dulled all my blades
They're after me
Dragging me into the darkness
With no mercy
They bite away at what makes me human
They kick me and scratch me and make me bleed
I hurt all over
You read this poem thinking it was about demons
But it's not
It's about the human race.
