There I laid on the soft green grass on a warm spring's day. Cherry blossoms fluttering into the light, gentle breeze. I just stayed there, quiet but mindful, watching the birds fly. I saw the clouds drift by, and I saw how the squirrels jumped from tree to tree. I was paralyzed. Paralyzed from the beauty before me. "What just happened?" I would ask myself over and over. The nature and pureness of the earth is no match to the sinful punishments this world has come to. I just watched how my life will end, a vision of this once peaceful world that will come to a diminishing stop. Persistent of how the words hummed in my head. "Why"? Asking over and over again looking for an answer. "Why"?
