After a while of happily shopping with Alex, Robert and Austin finally made it out to meet us at the food court.

"We probably should get out while we can." Robert suggested. I rolled my eyes upset that I had to leave because my bestfriend decided to tweet about our 'fun filled day'

"why don't you and Austin head out, and I'll call you when Alex and I are ready for you to pick us up?"

"Um Jessie, did you not just hear what you said?" Austin budded in, "You and Alex, he'll attract attention to the both of you as well. We all have to go."

"Fine"

We walked out if the mall, piled into the car and headed back to Austin's house. I decided that I couldn't leave Alex alone with Austin, or he'd tell him for sure. I pulled out my phone to remind Alex what he couldn't do.

*You can't tell Austin

-I know Jess, you don't have to remind me..

*but I felt like I had to.

-When is your date anyway?

*Tonight

-Okay, but IM dropping you off and picking you up

"No Alex!" I accidentally yelled. All three boys quickly turned their heads towards me, immediately concered, well except for Alex.

"what are you talking about?" Robert asked

"Bad dream.."

"Jess I know you were awake"

"Daydreaming..duh!"

I looked at Alex, feeling my eyes water up. I don't want a chaperone for my date, I know it'll be fine, if any of the boys don't show up. I'll be in so much trouble if austin finds out, he'll kill Logan, and me afterwards. Logan and Austin are polar opposites, they'll never get along! And Alex knows that. Logan is always causing trouble, for other people. But when he's around me, I cant help but feel so attached, and connected to him.

Alex put his arm around me, and whispered "it'll be okay" in my ear. I threw his arm off of me, and turned to face the window. I felt really bad for treating Alex like that. I know he is only trying to look out for me, but at the same time I really mad that he can't trust me enough to know I'll be okay.

When we arrived at the house, I grabbed my shopping bags, and walked across the street to my parents house without saying a word to any of them.

My phone kept ringing, but I ignored it, knowing that it was probably austin, I knew Alex would tell him.

I got ready for my date, which was in about an hour. I curled my long hair, applied fresh make-up and put on my new dress. By the time I was done, my phone had 42 missed calls. I unlocked my iPhone to see who was calling, and my phone began to ring once more. I answered it without hesitation.

'Stop calling me Austin!' I yelled into the phone

"I'm sorry, it's not austin"replied Logan's voice. " I just wanted to let you know that I'm outside, hurry, I don't like waiting"

I hung up the phone, grabbed my jacket, and ran outside. Quickly glancing at Austin's house, I saw all three boys outside talking, Alex, the only one who looked over, made eye contact with me. I turned away feeling a bit guilty, and got into Logan's car.

Logan backed out of the driveway, and took off really fast.

~Austin's POV~

"We should all go to whataburger" I excitedly suggested.

"Your not going to want to go anywhere when I tell you this." Alex answered, looking as if he wanted to cry.

"What's wrong?" I asked concered. "If it's about Jess, I'm sure she'll be fine, she's just upset. It's probably her time of the month" I joked.

Then he told me.
