The Next Day

Brittney.

The bright sunlight beamed directly in my face waking me up. I sat up in bed and yawned. I looked to the left of me and saw that Korey was still asleep. I kissed his cheek causing him to stir around but he didn't wake up.

My feet hit the cold hardwood floor as I scooted out of the bed. I walked over to the large window and closed the curtains causing the room to become dark.

I walked to the bathroom connected to his room. I saw that my toothbrush was still here so I used it to brush my teeth. I let the water get warm and then I washed my face.

Once I was done in the bathroom I made my way down stairs and into the kitchen because I'm about to cook my baby breakfast.

I had brought my phone with me and I sat it on the counter. I opened his refrigerator and it was stuffed with food. I pulled out bacon, eggs, and sausage then I opened the pantry and found pancake mix.

I set everything up and started to cook starting on the pancakes first.

My phone starting ringing and it was Jayda calling me so I answered.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked.

"Now I am." I said smiling to myself and putting the pancakes on a plate.

"What happened?" She asks.

I began to tell her everything from when we got outside to when we had sex.

"Wow, where are you now and what are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm at his house and I'm cooking him breakfast." I said.

"Bitch he cheated on you and the next day you cooking him breakfast? You goofy as hell!" She yelled.

"How?" I asked.

"You being too nice to him. He just cheated on you and you cooking him breakfast so now he's going to think he can cheat and get away with it." She said all in one breath.

"Girl no he is not." I said.

"You just dumb. It's probably those bitches you hang with fault." She said with hella attitude.

"You just jealous, Bye." I said hanging up on her.

I finished cooking and put everything on two separate plates. I felt two hands snake around my waist and two soft kisses on my neck.

"Ugh Korey you ruined it!" I said turning around and wrapping my arms around his neck.

He gave me a confused facial expression. "What you mean?" He asked.

"I was supposed to bring it up to you, you know like on the movies. Now go lay back down."

"You so extra." He chuckled about to walk out.
