Summer had officially came to an end. Today was my first day of 8th grade. My schedule was plain and boring.
Period 1- Math
Period 2- Science
Period 3- History
Period 4- Performing Arts
Period 5- Physical Education
Period 6- English
I sighed and got out of bed. I got dressed into a black skirt and white crop top. I quickly grabbed my bed and started for school.
I open up my locker and pick out my math book. I close it and turn around to see an excited Maddie. Maddie is my best girl friend. She's super sweet and we have tons of sleepovers. I giggle, "what are you so excited about?" She let's out a squeal, "We have math together! Let's go!" She grabs my arm and basically drags me down to math.
I scan the room for my new classmates when I see him. It was Finn. Finn and I had gotten to know each other a lot more over the summer. I can't believe we go to the same school and in the same math class. I check the seating chart and see that I happen to be placed next to Finn. I smile at Maddie, then go over and take my seat.
Finn glances up and greets me with a smile. "Hey Finny." I say. "Boy, that teacher sure made a mistake putting us together." He replies with a smirk. I giggle and exchange smiles with him.
By the time lunch had come around, I had 2 classes with Finn. The other one Nick in it. I'm so lucky! I ran to my locker and grabbed my lunch. I walked over to Maddie. "Let's go find Nick and Finn!" She looked at me confused. "Finn? Who's Finn?" I start blushing. I don't know why I blushed, but I did. "He's in our math class. Let's go find them, okay?" She looked at me suspiciously, but followed me.
We find Finn and pull him over to a table. Nick soon joins us and we talk. All of the sudden, a girl named Karina runs over. Karina is the girl who knows EVERYTHING. She informs you of the latest gossips and parties. "Guess what!" She screams. "What?" We all say back to her. "Alyssa is hosting a party at her house, ON FRIDAY!" Maddie looks at her. "That's great, Karina. See you later." I glance at the group. "We have to go." I say. Maddie looks at me like I'm a mass murderer. "We're going." I say again.
