I finish curling my hair and smile into my mirror. I look at my outfit of a burgundy tank top with leggings. Will I be cold? Eh, I can always ask Alyssa for a jacket. "Wow, you're growing up so fast." I quickly turn to the side and see my mom standing in the door frame. I smile. "Alright, you ready to go? The party starts soon." I nod and follow my mom out to the car
I hop out of the car and wave to my mom. I find Maddie walking inside so I quickly join her. We head over to a pretty empty area, and she turns to me. "Do you like Finn?" She says, staring at me. "Yeah, of course!" I reply. She rolls her eyes, "Do you like him more than a friend?" I gulp and start blushing. "I don't know.. maybe.. no.. yes.. no... possibly?" She stares at me and squeals. "You totally like him!" I sigh. "Don't tell anybody, please!" She stares at me confused. "I would never do that, Millie!" I smile gratefully, and see Nick coming our way. I run over to him. "Hey Nick! How are y-" I see Finn walking over to us. He smiles when he sees me, and I smile back.
"LET'S PLAY SPIN THE BOTTLE!" Alyssa yells. "YEAH!" The crowd cheers. I turn around Maddie. "Let's play!" We walk over and take a seat on the floor. "Okay, who wants to spin first?" I watch as a boy named Hunter yells, "ME!" He spins. I watch it spin around and around, until it stops. I glance at who the bottle stopped on, and jump back a bit. It was Maddie. I watch her face fill with terror as Hunter leans in. It was a peck, but enough to ruin her night. "Spin it, Maddie!" Alyssa yells. Maddie shakily spins the bottle and watches it. It lands on... Finn. FINN? I feel tears starting to form in my eyes as I see Maddie's face brighten up. She leans up excitedly and kisses Finn, and this time, it was not a peck. I bite my lip. Tears start streaming down my cheeks, she likes Finn too? I quickly get up and hurry to the bathroom.
I hear a knock, and open it. "Hey Finny." I mumble. He smiles. "Why are you crying Millie?" I ignore his question and wipe the tears off my face. "Hey Millie, I like you." I glance up. "Really?" I reply. "Yep." I smile, "I like you too, Finny."
