to anyone reading this: people will constantly say one thing and mean another. if someone claims they miss you and they truly do, they will prove it. i promise you, actions speak a million times louder than words. with that being said, stop giving a shit about people who don't even spare a single second of their precious time to think of you. you are and will always be a priority, not a second choice. you deserve more than an "i miss you" text with no meaning behind it. you deserve more than dry, meaningless conversations; not because the two of you have nothing to talk about, but simply because they are not interested in making you feel important enough to have a decent conversation with. and you sure as hell deserve more than being stood up or lied to on any occasion. the sooner you learn how to extract toxic people from your life, the sooner you'll forgive, and the sooner you'll forget.
