We left the house early that day, my hands steady on the wheel as I drove. She kept looking to her side of the road, a smile on her lips. I wanted everything to slow down. To stop. In that moment, I wanted everything to stay like that forever.
As we got to the lake, Alex insisted we should just sit in the car for a while, looking at the sun-setting sky. I had nothing else to do but agree, letting my mind clear a little as I saw her get out. Confused, I followed her, watching as she climbed on top of the car's hood. Before I could say anything, she patted the space beside her, inviting me to sit down. I did as I was told, stretching my limbs as I tried not to hit her accidentally. Finally, she turned her gaze to the colorful sky, sighing a little before talking.
"What made you come here? Out of all the places in the world?"
The sun kiss her pale skin, lighting her blue eyes. Her smile was almost nonexistent, yet true, genuine. The white dress she chose to wear was riding just above her knee, her legs tangled in each other and her arms loose at her sides.
She looked beautiful, perfect, to me. All she was, flaws and all, made me love her in such little time. Even though she had little time left, I'd spend it every day next to her.
I'd spend all my life remembering her.
"I came here to find you."
A/N: So yeah, new Liam story. This is definitely something different from what I've written so far. It'll be more mature and I'll try to make it more descriptive. The whole story will be told from Liam's point of view, so don't expect narrations from Alex (Alexis).
