Louise POV

I get back to my dorm at 9. My make-up is ruined and my hair is sticking to my scalp and my face. I am barley holding myself together, as I fumble through my purse looking for my keys. I finally found them and unlocked my dorm with shaking hands.

Danny won't answer his phone. I called twice and texted him nearly a million times. I don't know what to do anymore. I explained the best I could that I didn't expect to happen what did, and that I would never do that to him. But I also can't help but think of how he must feel after seeing what he did.

I walk into the dorm and without fail River bombards me with questions.

"Louise! Tell me everything! Did he pay? Did he kiss you? Did he do more than kiss you?" She winked after the last one before she looked disgusted. "Oh. why are you sticky and gross?" I put on the biggest fake smile I could muster and said. "Really? you want to know everything?" She nodded her head frantically. "Okay so here it is. I hate you." I smiled at her again as her smile faded, then I walked into the bathroom and locked the door.

The last thing I want is to have to explain my terrible night to River, a girl who has no respect for anyone else's feelings and only likes the gossip.

I peel off my dress and turn the shower on. I looked at myself in the mirror as the fog blurred my face. I tried to piece together my night. I tried to make sense of my emotions, but I just couldn't. The shower was scolding hot. My skin instantly turned red. The drink in my hair refused to cooperate with my shampoo causing me to throw my bottle across the shower. The bottle busted and its contents puddled around my feet. Logan Berry Bush had gone to far. He stole my hat. He ruined my first date. He stole my first real kiss. And he left me with no one and nothing.

Logan's POV

I stayed at the bar until closing. One more shot and I'm certain I would have passed out. I'm a drunk idiot in the back of a cab who just can't keep his mouth shut.

"So... Cabby driver man? You ever done anything real dumb and regretted it but also were like 'whaaaaaa. Why do I feel like this'?"

The cab driver refused to fully answer my question. All he said was "sure."

"Well I am a dick." I sprawled myself out in the back of the cab and looked up at the roof. "I'm a dick!"

"That's nice sir. Now get out and give me my money." I tossed the cab driver a twenty and did a ninja roll out off the car. He drove away leaving me alone in front of my building. I lied on the side walk for what felt like hours. There were a lot of stars tonight despite the fact that the temperature had dropped to the 30s and my wet clothes did little to keep me warm, I couldn't move. Every time I tried to get up I was overwhelmed with nausea. I managed to get to my apartment after puking in bush near the door.

The apartment was dark and dirty. I tripped over everything as I walked to my bed. The last thing I thought before I went to sleep was how I needed to fix this. I needed to talk to Danny.

-----------------------------------------

The sun welcomes me in the morning with a piercing headache. I rolled out of bed and changed out of my clothes from the night before. They stank and so did I. I took a shower and chugged as much water as I could before I had to go to work. Sun glasses would be to obvious so I just have to take pills and deal with the pain. When I walk in, Mr. Lawson is holding a very large rabbit and working at his desk. My head hurt too bad for me to even try to figure out what the man was doing today, so I just sat at my desk.

"Ah. Good. You're here. We have about an hour before class and I have to go run some errands. So I need you to watch Knox." Mr. Lawson walks over to me and sets the large animal on my desk. I told myself I wouldn't, but if I have to watch the thing then I want to know.

"Knox sir?"

"Well yes. And if you lose him bad things will happen, so watch yourself." That's all the information he gave me before he winked and left the classroom. Knox the rabbit probably weighed about 15 pounds and laying down had the ability to cover my entire desk. I searched through boxes in the back to see if I could find one big enough to hold Knox til Mr. Lawson returned.Thank goodness I did right before the students started taking their seats. I put Knox in a box under my desk with holes poked all through it. Class starts in five min. and Mr. Lawson hasn't come back.

"Great" I thought. "Now I'm babysitting a large hair ball and I have to try to fix what I screwed up. What a great day."

By the time Louise had class Mr. Lawson came back and shoved a leaf into the box I put Knox into and left again without a word. I watched Louise. Her ears flopping to the left as she turned to look at Danny. Danny refused to look at her and he kept sending me dirty looks. It's not fair to her. She did nothing wrong but I did, which is why I completely understand why she won't look at me either. Her head stays buried in book in a way I've never seen before. I wish that she would lash out at me or leave snakes in my desk or something. But this is so much worse. She does nothing.

I had no motivation to teach that day so I just played a video in all of my classes. After the video was done playing I asked a few questions.

"Does anyone know the lesson in this video." A few hands shoot up around the room but before I can pick anyone a voice speaks out.

"The video is about betrayal and lies coming to the light. It's about the consequences that come with trusting anyone. And how most people, including young teachers, will screw you over and take the things you love because they are just a big ball of shit." Danny was standing now. He turned and looked at Louise. "Isn't that right Louise?" At that Louise stormed out of the class leaving her bags and everything else behind.

I look over at Danny who stared at me with fire in his eyes. "I think you miss interpreted it. But thank you for your input." I had to change the subject. If the other students find out I could lose my job. I followed up with, "Danny can I talk to you after class?" I would have ran after Louise but that wouldn't fix anything and it would only support Danny's story.

After class Danny walked up to my desk.

"What do you want?" He said with a scold.

"I want to talk about last night." He nodded for me to continue. "Louise had no part in it. She had no idea..."

"Well her lips seemed to be aware." He said cutting me off. "Look, I don't care what happened last night. It doesn't change the way you looked at each other after."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"The way you two looked at each other was in a way that would have to be based off of many years of love." He balled up his fists. "And if she has that with you, then she'll never have it with me."

"Danny. Man listen to me. There's nothing between us." He just stood there and looked at the ground. Knuckles white and veins popping. He finally looked up and said, "Your box is hopping away."

Knox has moved himself and the box away from under my desk. Danny took the opportunity to leave, slamming the door behind him.

I am soooo sorry for not updated in so long. School took a turn on me that I didn't expect and I no longer had anytime. But things are feeling better now and I'm going to try to start updating again and more often. Again so so sorry and please stick around. It's about to get good. ;)
