Part 18

Here's the start to the next adventure

3rd POV

"He failed, didn't he?" a male voice said to three others. They each sat in a dark room with a light only illuminating the table in the center "Yes, wasn't it obvious" the second voice said, this one was a female's voice "What are we waiting for, we should just go deal with this ourselves?" the third said and like the first, it was male and sounded like he was shouting "Calm down, we can't do anything,yet" and a green sphere floated into the center of the table. IN the center it showed a picture of (Y/n) in his powered up devil form holding up his sword "You are not long for this world, son of Etheria"

Meanwhile somewhere completely different

"Get it!" a man shouted and he held up a machine gun firing at a fast moving object. tow more joined him as the black object flew by and cut the first one's head off. They turned around only for one to get thrown into the ceiling of the warehouse that they were in enough to crash through it and come back down leaving a sizable stain on the ground. The second saw what happened to his friend and made a run for the door. He reached for the knob just to get impaled by a bright red staff of light. The man dropped dead as the staff dissipated "Not even worth my time" a voice said as the click of heels came from the dark. A cloaked figure went to a door at the end of a hall and turned the knob and the door came open with a terrified man cowering by the wall "Pl-pl-please d-dont-t-" and the figure made another spear and said in a bored tone "No, your time has come" and the window was covered in the splatter of blood as screams of terror could be heard.

A short time later

(Y/n) POV

"Man, there's nothing to do" I said to myself walking down the street. I kicked an empty can into the road and it got run over by a passing car "I've tried to do more of the targets that Satan gave me but for some reason when I get there, they're already dead, like with the one I just tried to do. blood everywhere and not a living soul to tell me what happened" I said putting my hands in my pockets. Last week I officially gave all those colorful girls who's names I didn't even bother learning the boot out, I sent them packing back to their school. I passed a store that had a TV in the window with the news on, it was about how police found a warehouse full of brutally murdered people and how that they have zero evidence to the killer's identity 'That would be me, but Nooooo~, someone went and did it before me' I thought started to walk again. I looked just ahead to my home, the forty story building that I live in 'I should get home soon, since both Maru's and Armena's due dates are coming up, they've been at each other's throats for like a week because of hormones and all that jazz that I don't understand'. I got in the foyer and did my usual waves and hello's and stuff like that. I went up to my room and the second the door opened I dodged a flying lamp "Why are you two fighting this time?" I said as the two glared at each other "She stole my pudding" Maru yelled while pointing at Armena "Why are you so mad, it was only one? You have five more!" "It's not about amount it's about respect you bit-!" "Hey, chill, you both need to take a chill pill, I'l get both of you two your own damn packs of pudding" and they both stopped yelling at each other. They both then sat on the floor turning their backs to each other huffing and clearly still upset with each other, not the  first time and hopefully the last time for a little bit so can get some rest "So, how was that hunt?" Armena said leaning next to me "They were all dead, again"I said throwing my arms in the air "Ugh, you need to go find some interesting stories to bring back" she said laying back "Okay then" I said getting up to leave "Bye girls" I said and Armena waved while Maru ate one of her pudding's "Bye" and she threw the cup at me "Okay then" I said leaving. I got out and started walking towards the guy I want to end, some pimp. I stopped outside the house. And in typical fashion the door was torn clean off it's hinges but I could still hear movement inside 'Maybe I can find out who's been killing my people to kill' I thought stepping inside of the house. I heard a loud bang form upstairs and I crept up the stairs and the master bedroom was wide open. The one thing I noticed when stepping over the remains of what I'm assuming is the guards, there was very little blood left, it was obvious it was there, but there were no puddles of it left. I slowly and quietly went up to the door and I was slightly creeped out by the sound of shrieking coming form the room. I looked inside form the door frame and what was inside scared me to the core. There was a cloaked person holding a glowing spear in their right hand that was stabbed into the ground, the man was crying in pain and the cloaked figure looked as if they were eating their throat, yet, there was little to no blood 'Vampire'. The figure then dropped the man dead and they were breathing heavily and I could see their scarlet eyes and the person hugged themselves and shivered "Oh, how lovely" the person said in a female voice, it was silky smooth and they grinned showing their pearly white fangs that were clearly visible as some blood dripped down the sides of their mouth. She pulled down her hood and her long black hair flowed down their back and she took her spear back into her hand and put it up on her shoulder "Oh, I wonder who's here still?~" and she looked around and sniffed the air "Who ever you are, I'm leaving now, so you can stop hiding in the shadows" and she opened up the window and climbed out. I laid against the wall and thought to myself 'Vampires, great, my life is complete now'

Time skip

I was walking down the street when my phone rang "Hello?" "Hey (Y/n), how's it going?" Armena said on the other line "Fine, found out who was stealing my targets" "Oh, who was it?" "I don't know the name but it was a vampire" "Oh good, good good good then" and I could hear something in the back ground "What was that?" "Oh, that, ummmmm, how do I put this, Me and Maru are both at the hospital" "Why?" "She went into labor"

Some new competition is on the block and some new foes want your head, we'll find some more out about our new blood sucking friend later but for now....
