Epilogue

1 year later

"Wake up babe! Let's go! We're going to be late!" Lauren yelled as she shoved at Lucy's shoulders for her to wake up.

"No! I don't want to run. I'm tired." Lucy argued unconvincingly as she kept her eyes closed.

"Maybe this'll change your mind," Lauren whispered into Lucy's ear as she kissed her earlobe and bit it causing Lucy to moan.

"Mmm okay.. I'm coming." Lucy hummed.

"C'mon guys! Or we'll run without you!" Ally yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Ally, Camila, Dinah, Normani, and Zayn were waiting for Lauren and Lucy to get ready for their daily morning run.

"Alright, let's go." Lucy got up and got dressed. She brushed her teeth and headed downstairs with Lauren trailing behind her.

"Finally!" Zayn exclaimed.

"Shut it." Lucy commented as she playfully slapped Zayn's shoulder.

"Ight lets go," Dinah said running out of the house. The others followed Dinah outside while Lucy stayed back with Zayn as she tied her shoes. Zayn zoned out as he watched the girls run out of the house. Lucy saw this and decided to ask what was up.

"You alright Zayn?" Lucy asked. Zayn looked down at Lucy and shrugged.

"Yeah, I just missed this," Zayn responded.

"Missed what?" Lucy asked as she finished tying her shoes and got up to meet Zayn's eye level.

"Being in a pack." Zayn spoke as he looked out to see the girls chasing each other.

"I guess you can say I miss it too." Lucy replied as she, also, looked out at the other girls chasing each other and running around.

"Uh, enough of this emotional session," Zayn said, "bet I can beat you to that tree over there." He challenged as he pointed out to a tree sitting two miles away from them. 

"Bet I'd win that bet." Lucy giggled. They both got into a running stance and counted down.

"On your mark. Get set," Zayn started.

"Go!" Lucy yelled as she started running ahead of Zayn.

"Hey! You cheated!" Zayn complained as he started running to their destination, as well.

The others saw Zayn and Lucy racing and decided to run with them. As Lucy was running she was thinking of how life was. She was having the best time of her life at this exact moment. Lucy suddenly stopped thinking about how great life was when she saw her beautiful girlfriend, Lauren, run pass her.

Lucy stopped in her tracks and began to admire her girlfriend as she continued to run pass her and make it to the tree, the tree that she was suppose to reach before Zayn. Lucy was to busy admiring Lauren that she didn't notice Zayn, hunched back with his hands on his knees, as he breathed heavily right next to her.

"Oh...hey..it looks like...your girlfriend..beat us...to the tree." Zayn said in between breaths.

"Haha yeah, isn't she perfect." Lucy said as she watched and praised her girlfriend on her looks and personality.

"Yeah, haha, you guys should get married." Zayn joked. Lucy looked down and frowned. She then looked up at Zayn and smiled.

"What? Was it something I said?" Zayn asked worriedly.

"Yep, it was definitely something you said." Lucy responded.

"You mean about you two getting married? It was a joke." Zayn laughed.
