The other day at school i was wearing a recruit New York shirt. A kid came up to me and said " recruit so firefighters" i said was yes he asked who was a firefighter. I said "my mom and dad."
He said aid "you know they can die right"
I had no idea what to do. I told my friend (we call each other Fire Sis because our dads are in 2 different fire departments) and we were both saying how you don't say that to someone.
