Chapter 7: Awkward

The umbrella drop down when he wrap his arms around my waist pulling me close toward him even more. "Everything's gonna be alright..." He whisper before stroking my hair softly and his warm breath on my neck. He reach for the doorknob opening it before pulling both of us inside and gently unwrap his arms around my waist facing his back on me.

My face heat up. "A-Asano-kun! I-I'm so sorry about earlier... Please forgive me" I said and he turn to me. "You're still afraid of the thunders and lightnings. It's no one fault" he said coldly before closing his umbrella and the thunder roar even more causing the power goes out.

It's dark and thank goodness. I know where the flashlights is along with the candles. I light the candle up and didn't saw Gakushuu around. I can hear his footsteps in the living room and I saw him staring at the picture frames of us when we were little and I gently place the candle down on the coffee table.

"Don't you feel cold? Go and change your clothes. I will be down here" he said looking at me. I nodded slowly. I'm surprise... His personality changes but still act cold toward me. I went to my room and quickly change. I wear my ivory sweater dress and black legging then go downstair quickly before the thunders roar again.

I saw him sitting on the couch watching the candle. "Gakushuu- I mean Asano-kun... Would you like some hot chocolates?" I know it's his favorite drink. It took a moment before he nodded slowly. I smile secretly and walk into the kitchen even though it's still dark. I make both of hot chocolates before walking to the living room.

"Here you go" he gently took it from my hand and I sat beside him. The silence feel the air and I glance at him. "Is there any reasons you suddenly act like that toward me lately?" He look at me and look away before taking a sip of the drink.

"I'm still your best friend..."

I hear him mumbling but can't hear it clearly. "D-Did you say anything?" He shook his head placing the mug on the coffee table. "I will tell you soon one day..." He whisper the last part.

I place the mug down and look at him. He's always confident with himself but I know deep down... Someone is hurting him. "I miss the old Asano..." He look at me. "You can call me Gakushuu... When we're alone" he look away with blushing? Face. "B-But didn't you told me not to call you Gakushuu?" I said softly.

"I take that back..." He look at me into the eyes and the thunder roar. I jump a little and he gently pull my wrists and pull me close to him before wrapping his arms around my waist.

I end up losing my balance. "G-Gakushuu! I'm falling-" I squeak out and the both of us end up falling on the floor as the thunder roars more. I open my eyes to see him on top of me and my face turn redder than a tomato.

"G-Gakushuu..."

"Shirayuki..."

Why are we in an awkward position?!
