Monday July 1

Apparently mom's idea of fun and me getting out of the house was sending her daughter to some old,run down abandoned camp ground. Ever since dad left we've been struggling to keep the house and ontop of that my boyfriend now ex-boyfriend David, I found him cheating on me by catching him naked with another girl and that bitch was my one and only best friend Tessa. I was stupid to think it was going to be forever between us. It was 4:30 and mom was rushing me to get ready and packed so I showered and pulled on a long sleeve gray shirt with my favorite jeans with holes in them and to complete that I put on a light amount of mascara and some lip gloss, I was too lazy to curl and do anything with my hair so I brushed it and tied it up in a high ponytail.

I pulled my drawer opened and grabbed my phone plus my headphones and threw them on my bed along with my charger, I dragged out a duffle bag and my one suitcase I ransacked my closet for clothes to pack to this dumb camp. I don't see why I can't stay here no one's gonna be home anyway, mom has to leave for a business trip and won't be back for a while or longer depends. While furiously shoving clothes into my dufflebag I think why does the camp have to be called camp blood promise it's kind of a weird name for a camp whoever made it up is weird I walk into my bathroom and pack my makeup bag,brush, my millions of perfumes, deodorant of course, they probably don't have soap for me to shower so I toss my coconut and waterfall shampoo and conditioners in my suitcase with my other crap.

I zipper up my suitcase, and toss my charger in my dufflebag and pull it closed tight, I grab my wallet and head downstairs as I set everything down to eat cause I was staving, my phone started vibrating in my back pocket and my screen flashed Mom I swiped my phone to unlock it and answered

"Hey Mom"
"Hey. Ky are almost ready to leave, you gotta get going before you miss the bus"
"Yes I'm just getting something to eat real quick"
"Alright just hurry up ugh! gotta go sweetie don't be late! Love you!!!! Have fun and stay out of trouble be careful out there. Call Later alright ok bye!!"
"Wait. Mom!"

Before I could even protest she already hung up I stood in silence and locked my phone and put it back in my pocket, I sighed and opened the fridge door pulling a water out.

"Yea love you too Mom thanks a lot"

I pulled my dufflebag opened and threw in some snacks for the trip and my 4 Dr Peppers and 2 Iced Teas almost forgot my pills, I pulled my 2 pill containers out of the medicine cabinet and took 2 out of both containers for now and threw them in my bag pulling it closed. It was not 4:58 rushing to grab my suitcase and sling both straps to dufflebag over my shoulder and run out the door.

I was out of breath from running but made it just it time when a bus pulled up to the bus stop with the camp name and emblem on the bus "Camp Blood Blood" and I emblem had a moon with a wolf's head on it. I took some breaths and got on the bus seeing faces with other teens my age and some older then me. For one the driver was really freaking me out he looked like he wanted to murder me or something but I eased my way down the aisle and locked eyes with this guy he had brown hair and his eyes were blue really blue looked like worked out a bit, I set my suitcase down and sat next to him he smiled and it was like those friendly ones

he said "Hey I'm Martin"
"Hi its Ky"
"Ky huh thats a cool name. So ever been to this camp before"
"No actually, I'm new to this camp"
"Oh same. But if you get a good look at driver he honestly looks like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning"

For some reason Martain's joke actually made me laugh and I didn't even realize he was laughing too. A girl a seat behind us with black hair and a streak of blue in her hair, a little heavy on the eyeliner but she was dressed in black she looked up at the driver "I heard his wife dumped him" Martain looked at the girl then me "Oh names Bethany" Martain gave her his name "Martain huh strange name. So what about you newbie" I didn't realizse she was talking to me

"Oh uh Ky but did you call me newbie"
"You look like a newbie, but cool"

Martain looked back at the driver paying attention to the road

"So did his wife really dump him. Sucks for him"
"Yep"

I looked at the back of the bus and found kids standing up in their seats throwing stuff at each other and yelling and laughing at each other from the front and back of the bus

Martain looked out the window and snapped me out of my thoughts

"Looks like were here"

I looked out the window and saw the camp there were houses inside of cabins buses were pulling into the parking lot and kids were getting off, I grabbed my suitcase handle and got off the bus Martain and Bethany were behind me as we got off

"Wow guess this place isn't bad after all well for now"
"Guess your right Bethany but I still don't know about this camp"
"You'll get used to it guess we should find our houses were crashing it"

I look around and the houses have boards with names of kids of the house their assigned to stay in until the end of camp, I looked at every house and found my name on the board of this one house, outside the house the walls were black and the roof a chestnut brown kind of color but it was cool. I went to the desk in this building where you can get help and get your key. I told the man I need keys for house 742, he gave me my keys and I walked out.

I pulled my phone out and it was 8:45 running back to the house I dug my key into the door and walked in dragging my suitcase behind me. I basically walked into the livingroom and to my left was the kitchen, walking in more there was a long dark hallway leading to some rooms decided to pick my room since I was the first here.

I switched the lights on and just walked into a random room, it actually looked like my room at home leaving my stuff at the door I set my dufflebag by my suitcase and sat on the bed until I heard someone walk in guess it was one of the people I'm rooming with I get up to see who it is and when I walked out I bumped into someone

"Oh sorry'" said the low voice

"Oh no its fine" I look up and it was this guy he pretty tall,he had brown eyes his hair was messy like he just woke up. "Welcome camp to newbie" said the guy I bumped into and he disappeared down the hall.

"Yea"
