Erza's POV:
After a few days of being locked in a cold, dark and gloomy cell and intensely tortured, I still hadn't said a word. The door opened in an instant and light shone through and filled the room. "On your feet, rebel scum! Today you will be transferred to a different location, there you will meet Grand Admiral Thrawn and have a little 'discussion' of sorts." An imperial officer said, his voice full of hatred. "I can't wait to see him." I replied with a dark tone in my voice. "How dare you back chat to an imperial officer! Usually I would make an example out of scum like you, as you've been assigned to the Grand Admiral I cannot... yet. Now get up and move!" I began to get up and I instantly felt agonising pain forming once again in my back. Despite this, I followed the officer out of the cell and in to the corridor where a squad of stormtroopers awaited me. I fought through the pain and walked to the hangar of where my transport ship awaited. It was the Ghost!
"Why have you kept our ship? I thought the Empire would've destroyed it!" I said, full of confusion. "Grand Admiral Thrawn has big plans for this ship, plans you will not get in the way of, now shut up or you will pay the price for your arrogance!" The officer yelled. I really wanted to see what the 'price for my arrogance' would've been, but I couldn't be bothered. I was too tired and in too much pain to start a fight that I wouldn't win. "Move!" I was whacked in the back of the head and I fell to the floor. Before I could get up, more punches and kicks came my way and left me black and blue. My left eye was swollen shut and It felt like my jaw had been dislocated I couldn't walk and so I was carried on board the Ghost and despite who was with, I felt like I was home...
The day after Ezra left...
Zeb's POV:
I woke up quite early, mainly because Chopper was shocking me all night long, so I got up, went to the toilet and as I was going back to bed, I noticed that Ezra was missing. I checked the small rooms of the freighter Commander Sato had lent us. No Ezra, anywhere.
I walked into Kanan's room to tell him that couldn't find the kid. "Kanan" I whispered. "Wake up! Ezra has gone." He began to wake. "Why have you woke me up so early Zeb?" He asked, quite annoyed. "Kanan mate, I understand that you're blind but are you deaf too! Ezra has gone!" I repeated. His facial expression changed from frustrated to worried. "I had a feeling this would happen..." He began. "He must think we've given up on Sabine and he's gone to find her." I looked at him in shock. "How could he find her? He will get himself captured and we will lose him too!" I told Kanan "I suggest that we tell Hera, she has always got a plan!" I nodded. "Good idea mate, but maybe wait till later it's a bit early..."
Kanan's blank eyes stared into my soul. "Actually, this is a great time to tell Hera!" I said correcting myself.
Myself and Kanan left his room and told Hera the same thing. "WHAT!" Hera yelled. "We need to find him! I can't lose Ezra too." She began to get upset. "Don't worry Hera, we will find him and Sabine yet, I promise" I gave Hera a hug and left to get some air. "He's only been gone a day, he may even be back soon..."Sabine's POV:
I was worrying about Ezra and what they could've done to him. I needed to see him. My plan was to get Thrawn close enough for me to do some damage, then me and Ezra would go to an escape pod and contact the crew. Sounds too easy.Thrawn entered the room for what seemed like the thousandth time. "You have a visitor Miss Wren." He said evily, holding Ezra's lightsabre in his hand. Ezra was thrown into the room, he gave me a weak smile before collapsing onto the floor.
As I observed his body, I saw that on the back of his jacket a straight line had burnt into it where he'd been slashed by a lightsabre. Not only that, but his eye looked swollen shut and his face had a few deep cuts over it. Thrawn continued, not carring for Ezra who had collapsed into a heap on the floor "The weapon of a Jedi. This has caused me nothing but trouble, and that has come back to haunt you and your friend!" Tears began to stream down onto my cheeks. "You'll never get away with this Thrawn, we will beat you!" I said, full of emotion. He didn't care what I had to say. "You have a very strong will mandolorian, you've been here for two months and not one word has slipped out of your mouth. Do you remember what I said to you when we first captured you, that I would make you talk? Well, I'll give you one more chance..." He ignited Ezra's blade and the room filled with green light. "Tell me where the location of your rebel base or I will kill your friend, limb by limb..." He began walking towards me. "So, what will it be? A base or the jedi's lif-" I kicked him in the head and just like I planned, he hit the wall and knocked himself out. "Ugh, you talk way, way too much." I said to the now unconscious Grand Admiral Thrawn. "Ezra, Ezra! Wake up." He began to get up, slowly but surely.
"Sabine!" he said, full of joy. He walked over to me, force pulled his sabre towards him and ignited it and broke the chain and my shackles that I had been wearing for longer than I could remember and before he could say anything I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him, he looked surprised at first and then he kissed me back. After a while we separated. "I'm so sorry that I didn't find you sooner Sabine." He whispered into my ear. I put my finger on his lips. "We not out of the woods yet." I whispered back into his ear. "Now lets get out of here." I ran over to Thrawn's body and took his administration card. I swiped it on the door, took Ezra's hand and ran, well jogged for Ezra's sake. "You've had a while to plan this haven't you?" Ezra asked "Yep." I responded.
A squad of troopers were waiting up ahead of us. "Prisoners! After them!" The leader ordered. Ezra forced pushed them back and took out his sabre. "Oh hey, its you guys, the ones who kicked me earlier!" He deflected all of their shots back at them. "Bye guys have a fun demotion! Follow me Sabine, the Ghost is up here!" He shouted over the deafening alarms of the Imperial prison. "Did you just say the Ghost?" I shouted back, full of excitement. "Yes! Follow me!" So we continued to take out the stormtroopers and eventually we made it to the Ghost. "This is amazing Ezra!" We boarded the Ghost and we were being shot at almost instantly. "Cover me Ezra! I'll fly you shoot!" I shouted "Quickly!"
The Ghost was in flight again. I flew us out of the bay of the prison and tie fighters were all over us in a matter of seconds. "Take those ties out! I'm calculating the jump!" We had nearly lost our rear shields again! "Not today boys!" And we were out! "Phew! I thought we were goners then..." Ezra began walking to the cockpit. "I was gonna say it back there but you told me too shush. I've missed you so much, and so have the crew. Everyday we've tried to find you, and I can't begin to imagine what they did to you back there..." He looked at me and It was then I realised he didn't just love me, he really cared about me. "I missed you too" That was all I got out until I hugged him and began to cry mercilessly into his shoulder. "Thank you Ezra, for being here when no one else has been able to." I walked into my room to discover that my art work was still there with an newly added splash of paint in the corner which read, *Stormtrooper 30109573 waz here.* I let out a small giggle and laid down and fell into my dreamland.
