Character synopsis
Jamilah - is the female protagonist and is half Persian and black. She's a spitfire, know it all working at a fashion house.
Anwar- is the male protagonist and is half Palestinian and Dutch and does nothing really, he's a 22 year old free lancer

"Mint tea please." She says brushing back her honey brown curls that had fallen onto my face.
"Coffee please." He says smiling up at the waiter taking down our orders.
"You brought me all the way to the only Persian restaurant in New York only to order coffee might as well have gone to the deli down the block." I exclaim
"Relax coffee is coffee." He says smiling at me, his lightly tan skin adding extra emphasis to his to his perfectly aligned and white teeth.
"So... What do you want?" She asks completely lost why she was even here eating saffron rice and lamb.
"To get to know you... Like normal people." He states simply truth be told he had been infatuated with her the moment he saw her strut into the lofty warehouse turned office space.
"But you do know I'm not really working for you right." She says munching on a julienne cucumber dipped in hummus. Anwar was well aware of the fact that jamilah was only a temp intern.
The fact was Anwar was aware of that, but didn't really care at all.
All he cared about was having learning more about this beauty.
