Next day: its the next morning and i am ready to go back to school again.
The summer is over, and I am really nervous to go back. Because everyone knows what happened with my mom.
Its been a month since my mom disappeared, and now me and my dad are left with alot of questions.

School

It's my first day back in school.
And i am having mixed feelings about it, but im happy to be out of the house. As I was ready to enter the school I am stopt by a familiar voice.
"Maya wait for me!" I couldn't believe my eyes as I turned around,it was my best friend Jessi. I run as fast as I can and I gave her a big hug.

Maya: "how are you!?"

Jessi: "im ok how are you after everything that happened?"

Maya: "im ok still a little shocked and confused about it all"

Jessi: "yes I understand and I am here for you, let's go to class."

Maya: "thanks"

It's four o clock.
And school is finished,the second i walked out of the school I see my father in the parking lot.
He really looks nervous.
I walk to him and ask him what's wrong.

Father: hi darling

Maya: hi dad whats wrong you look nervous?

Father: there's nothing to be worried about, hi Jessi how are you

Jessi: im good mister Lockwood.
But I have to go I will see you tomorrow Maya bye!

Maya: bye

Maya point of you

As we stept in the car I felt that something was wrong.
My dad was acting really strange.
It was silent in the car he said nothing the whole ride home.
Now that we are finally home i can ask him again "dad can you please tell me what's wrong?"
My dad "ok somebody broke into our house, when you went to school."
Me " what!!! Dad are you OK?"
My dad " yes I am ok darling but they took some important stuff from your mom.

Me "dad do you think that mom kept secrets"
my dad"not that I know. Well? There was that one time she was acting very suspicious. She said that she had a appointment with somebody from work."
Me" I really have the feeling that I don't know her that well as I thought I would."
Dad"I know me to darling,but everything will be alright we will find more answers in time."

After I spoke with my father.
I got upstairs into my room.
I was really sad about the whole situation, and because my mom left us.
With no clue were she was or if she is still alive. After I was done thinking about everything what happened lately, I decided to go to my best friend Jessi. I always feel comfortable talking about my personal issues. Because she understands it we've known each other for 18 years and she's like family to me.

After a while i was ready to go.
Ten minutes later i finally arrived at her house. I knocked three times on the door. Jessi opens the door and gives me a hug. We went straight to her room, and we talked for ours. I asked her if she wanted to help find my mom. And to solve what happened to her.
And she said yes i was so happy.
Now i have somebody i trust that can help me finding the reason why my mom left, and what happened? After we were done talking I went back home. It was already late at night when I arrived back back home. As soon as I went into my house i see my father sleeping on the couch all covered up.
I walked tourts him and gave him a kiss on his head. And i walked in silence to my room,and i went to sleep .
