Maya's pov

8:30am

I wake up out of nervousness. The entire night I struggled to sleep, all I could think about was the USB stick . What was on it? What if it's a suicide note. Whatever is on it, when we'll see it we'll never be able to irrace it from our memory. But I still feel the need to know whats on that USB . I feel like I have to know not only for me but for my dad. He was so depressed after my mom left us. He always had that shine in his eyes when mom was around, but now everything has changed. My dad is not the same person that he used to be. He is destroyed and hurt but still is trying to stay strong for me. It's like he can explode any second.

The USB stick

It's time to face reality, and watch what's on that USB stick . So I took my purse and walked down the stairs where my dad is at.
Dad: goodmorning kid,where are you going (as he walked tourts me smiling)
Me: im going to visit Jessi, to hangout, its been a while. With everything what's been going on.

Dad:yes I understand kiddo but don't make it to late.
Me:yes dad! (while I give him a hug before I go)
I finally have arrived at jessi's
So I knocked on the door, and she opens the door with a happy smile on her face.
Jessi:hi Maya! Are you ready for investigation 0.1. Because iam.
(while she gave Maya a hug)

Maya: uh yes I think so. You are so excited for this (as she giggles)

So we both walk inside and we go straight to her room. Where her laptop is ,so we both jump on her bed she takes the USB stick and puts it in her laptop. All of a sudden alot of files show up and we both look at each other with shocked faces.
We are both so curious so we both look true it.

What is on the USB and what Will we see!?
we Are looking through the files that where on my moms USB.
We both found something that really scared us. A video with the title?
the Unknown.
I looked at Jessi and said. Maya: are you ready for what we are about to see in this video because im not?
While scratching her arm nervously
Jessi: hey you can't back out now!
We came so far to this moment. So hold my hand and lets watch it together.

So we both hold each other and Jessi clicks on the video.
And as we click on the video I see a man and a woman stand next to each other. The man has a white jacket on. And the woman looked like she worked for the FBI they both looked a little creepy. And then they started talking.

Hello miss Lockwood.
Im mister Anderson
And im misses Anderson
(so they are husband and wife)
Mister Anderson: hi miss Lockwood. My wife and I both saw your mail.
I think my organization can help you with your problem im a doctor and im a specialist in unknown abilities and strange behavior. We also have alot of other people who can help you and will guide you through this experience. So please contact me so we can have an appointment and get some tests ready.

Im miss Anderson. Im here to help you with your special abilities. And how to control them. I'll help with training sessions and your mental state. We are both very good in our job we don't make mistakes we treat our clients right. As they both walked away from there desk.
So that was the end of the video.
We both looked at the video as it ended. Both shocked at what our ears listened to.
Jessi: so this is a lot of information?
And im still processing of what I heard. So what do you think Maya?

Maya: I really don't know what to think any more. So my mom has abilities that my dad and I don't know nothing about. And even if she has does abilities what kind. We still don't know where the organization is And what the location is. So I think they mailed her the location.
