Chapter 9

Marinette Cuddled Emma, Cradling her, and Talking to Alya.

She was going for a job interview that Adrien has set up for her.

In a few Minutes, She had left Emma, and Gone to the interview.

"And Where would you see yourself in 10 years?" The person asked.

"Probably Designing dresses for Clients"

The interviewer finished up and She left with a grin.

'Adrien Collected her and she sighed.
"Adrien? What are we even doing?"
"Dating?" He replied.

"I don't Know what's wrong with me, It's just, I feel trapped" she waved her hands frantically.

"You mean keep it professional?" He laughed.

"Marinette, I don't think That's possible, We had sex in my office after hours, remember?"

Marinette facepalmed. "And we nearly damn well got caught!"

Marinette's phone rang, and a private number showed up on the called ID.

"H..hello?" She asked.

"This is Marinette Dupain-Cheng Right?" A Lady asked.

"Uh yes, This is Marinette"

"Hi Marinette, My name is Samantha From ZagToon hospital, Your Friends, Ms. Césaire and Mr. Lahiffe have Been in an car accident, Mr. Lahiffe asked me to call you" Samantha said.

Marinette's Eyes widened.

"Oh...OK..I'm Coming now" she said, shaking.

"Adrien, Alya and Nino" She gasped.
"I know I heard" Adrien Said, Turning the car, and Heading to the Hospital.

Alya lay on the hospital bed, Her face stained with tears.

Adrien had left to visit Nino, Leaving Marinette To visit Alya.

"Alya?" Marinette squeaked.

"Alya what's wrong?"

Alya took a few Gulps of air, and then finally replied.

"I lost the baby" She burst into fits of more tears.

Marinette gasped. She ran over and comforted her best friend.

"Me and Nino, Were coming to tell you and 'Adrien that I was pregnant" She balled, wanting to be left Alone.

Nino looked out the window, His tear stained face was red and Blotchy, While Adrien Sat on the End of his bed.

Marinette knocked Lightly and Asked for Adrien to 'Join her for some Air'

"Did you know?" She hissed, grabbing his arm.

"Know What?" He pulled a face.

Marinet looked behind her before continuing.

"Alya and Nino Were in the Car Crash Because.."

"Because what?"

"They were heading over to our house to tell us that.. That... Alya was pregnant"

Adrien Gasped and covered his mouth.

"And the car crash? The baby?" His eyes Widened.

"The Baby Died" Marinette Started to Shake, Tears welling up in his eyes.

"Oh my God" Adrien Gasped, Hugging Marinette.

"Don't tell Nino" Marinette Shuddered.

"I won't" Adrien Replied, Sighing.
