~How you meet

"Just leave me alone". Screaming the words out you slam the front door shut as you storm out of your house.

Frustrated from the argument you had with your mum about how she always favours your sister, Amber, over you but your mum being your mum argues that she treats you both the same, you decide to go for a walk to try and blow off some steam.

Huffing in anger you turn around ready to start your walk when you all of a sudden meet the eyes of a teenage boy around the same age as you.

Glancing down you see his feet are covered by a pair of black converse, blue denim jeans covering his legs and a grey tight v-neck shirt clinging to his upper body and enhancing his very impressive six pack.

Looking further up you see a very strong jawline, thin yet plump delicious looking lips, soft and thick brown hair that reaches up to his ears with soft strands sticking up at the top and finally his dark yet light mysterious brown eyes that stare back at you.

Realising it was your neighbour who you have seen one or twice before you quickly snap out of your daze and shyly glance down.

"Hey, are you okay". Snapping your head up at the deep yet young voice you give a shake of your head and answer.

"Uh, yeah I'm fine". Coughing at the end you glance around you both hoping he didn't hear the argument that just happened.

"Are you sure, cause from what I just heard it doesn't seem like you are okay". Surprised by his answer you slowly shake your head in embarrassment.

"It's just, uh, my mum is always favouring my sister over me and I can't stand how she treats us so differently, it's like she only wanted one child and I'm the extra child that was a mistake". You don't why you just told this guy what happened but you had this feeling that you could trust him.

"Uh, yeah I kinda know how you feel, I know my parents love me and all but sometimes I feel like they prefer my sister over me because she gets good grades and everything, whereas I don't". Shocked that he actually also told you something private you plastered a big smile on your face and introduced yourself.

"I'm Y/N". Sticking out your hand you wait for him to grab it and shake it.

"I'm Jeremy". Grabbing your hand softly he gives a gentle shake before letting it drop loosely next to his side.

"How come we've lived next to each other for so long but we have never spoken to each other?" Laughing at the end of your question you look towards Jeremy for his answer.

"I have no idea, but I wish we could have spoken much earlier". Chuckling at the end Jeremy looks straight at you wondering why he hadn't spoke to such a beautiful girl like you before.

"Well Jeremy, I was just about to go on a walk, would you like to join me?" Still smiling you wait for Jeremy to reply.

"I would be delighted Y/N". Smiling brightly with the argument long forgotten you both head off down the road slowly walking whilst mindlessly chatting about random things.
