I woke up the next morning due to a very annoying buzzing sound that would not stop. The first time it went off I just ignored it and went back to sleep not knowing what time it was. The next time the buzzing went off I did check the time and it was 11:17 AM. I groaned and dropped back onto my pillow. I blindly reached for my phone just as the buzzing started again. I answered the phone without looking at who was calling.
"What do you want!" I spat out groggily, trying to get the sleep out of me. "Woah woah tone down the 'tude girl." I heard Ashely laugh into the phone. "What do you want?" I whined into the phone turning around in the sheets. "Well we've been standing outside your door for quite some time now and frankly it's a little hot so can you let us in?" She pleaded. I sat up and swooped my feet to the side. "Alright hold on." I huffed and hung up on her.
I trudged out of my room and over to the stairs. After getting down the steps I walked over to the door and opened it. There Ashely and Amanda were standing there dressed as if they were going out. They each had a bag in their hand which intrigued me. I wondered what was in them. I stepped to the side to let them in and walked to the kitchen. I heard the door close behind me and opened the fridge.
I grabbed the carton of milk and a cup from the cupboard and poured what the rest of it into the glass. I made a mental note to get some more milk later. After taking a sip I finally turned around to face them. "Alright mind telling me what's up?" I asked and they nodded. "Well we have a party tonight," Ashley began, "which you'll be going to with us," Amanda added, "and were going to the mall to get an outfit and do our nails." Ashley finished and I snorted.
"Oh I'm going but just not with you guys." I smirked and they both gaped and demanded I tell them why. "Well Niall sort of invited me to go with him." I uttered and their eyes popped. "No way!" Ashley yelled. "Oh my god go get ready this trip to the mall is now ten times more important!" Amanda laughed. I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "What's with the bags anyways?" I questioned and they shrugged. "Oh yeah, we're kind of sleeping over too." Ashley replied shyly.
Shaking my head I laughed and walked over to the stairs. I made my way up to my room and picked out some clothes. I pulled some jean shorts on and a long sleeved white and navy blue stripped shirt since it was beginning to get a little cool out. Heh that's what the end of September will do to ya. Not that I mind, I love the cold and in Atlanta you sure get cold. I slipped on some socks and then my combat boots. I walked over to the bathroom to do my hair.
It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't really presentable either. I did a quick braid with my bangs and pulled the rest of my hair into a messy bun. Hm, it'll do. For now anyways. I brushed my teeth and hurried back to my room to grab my phone and purse. After getting back downstairs I saw the two girls waiting for me on their phones. "Alright lets go!" I cheered and walked over to the door. Their heads snapped up and agreed.
We made our way to the mall jamming out to the radio. We sang along to a couple songs before Amanda put the car on park. We exited the vehicle and walked over to the entrance. Not needing to ask where we were going first, we immediately headed over to Beautiful Nails. The girls were right. I needed to rid this pure white color and go with something a little edgier. When we entered, we were greeted by a worker.
She had curly red hair, freckles covering all over her cheeks and nose, and piercing green eyes. She smiled brightly at us. "Hi we're just here to get our nails done." I smiled back at her. "Okay right this way." She gestured over to three tables set up over to the right. We followed behind her and each took a seat. There was a nail polish carrier at each table. I scanned the colors they had out and decided on a deep shade of red.
