Chapter 13: What Am I?

I woke up the next morning squished between Ashely and Amanda. I had a slight headache due to the amount of alcohol I had last night. Last night. Niall and I in that room. A smirk found its way onto my face. After we calmed down from the little episode we left the room and joined the party again. We had a couple of more drinks and at around twelve he took me home. It was an all in one great night.

But now it was Monday and unfortunately I had school. I sighed while getting out of bed and into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my whole morning routine. Once I was done I got a text message which was weird because it was so early in the morning.

From: Niall

You still home?

I looked at my phone in confusion. Well duh I was still home, it was 6:50. I still had ten minutes until I left. I quickly replied a 'yeah why?' and went down to the kitchen. I didn't get any reply so I just went on with my morning. I ate my toast in peace until there was a knock at the door. Hm that was weird. It was probably one of the girls. I walked over to the door and opened it. Let me tell you I wasn't expecting to see Niall standing there.

"Uh hey." He spoke and smiled at me. "I figured since you were still home I could take you to school today?" He added and looked down. My heart fluttered at his words. He was being so sweet. "Yeah that'd be nice." I smiled back at him and he looked up at me again. "Alright lets go." He waited for me to grab my things and lock the door on my way out. As we walked towards his car a blush found itself on my face.

Niall was taking me to school. What was that supposed to mean. Probably him just being nice but still it made me happy. We got into the car and Niall began driving. We didn't really talk, but the silence was nice. Half way through the drive I felt Niall place his hand over mine and lace our fingers together. "This okay?" I heard him speak and I nodded. "Yeah." I saw him smile. The school was in sight and I sighed. I didn't know what we were.

What were Niall and I? Were we talking? A thing? Was he ever going to ask me out to he his girlfriend? Ugh this was all too confusing. How was I supposed to act in school? The door opening got my attention and Niall was exiting the car. My hand suddenly felt very empty and I did not like that. Not one bit. I followed behind him and walked behind him. Should I grab his hand or just walk like if nothing? Niall answered the question for me when he just walked into the building as if nothing happened.

Well ok then. I rolled my eyes and walked to my locker. I got my things for today's classes out and closed it. Of course I had math today. I sighed and turned to walk to the door. The final warning bell rang so I had about a couple minutes before I was late. "Ally wait!" I heard Niall yell and I turned to face him. Oh god what'd he want. He hustled over to me and before I could ask what he wanted he placed a same kiss on my lips. "Forgot to give you that this morning." He smirked gave me another peck before slipping into the classroom.

I walked in after him, a blush definitely on my face. Why was he so confusing! God he frustrates me so much. I tried not to look so flushed and made eye contact with Morgan. She was sending me daggers. Well someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today. Not that I didn't expect that from her. I quickly made my way to my seat and sat down awaiting the boring lesson to begin.

Class went by so slow and by lunch time I was ready to quit. Niall had been a confusing fuck face in art too. He sat with me again, only to ignore me the whole time and talk to his friends in the table next to ours while he was holding my hand under the table. Like I'm sorry what? How is that okay to you? Because it's definitely not to me. I don't want to be a secret. It's already happened to me once and it sure in hell won't happen again.
