"Jasmin? Can you do something for me?" Max asks me, while he runs through the apartment for his trainers. I giggle at him, while Victoria rolls her eyes at him.
"Sure, what is it?" I ask him.
"Can you pick my mum up from the airport? I thought I'd make it, but she lands in 5 minutes" Max asks, quickly putting his trainers on. His personal trainer will be here any minute now.
"Off course. Where are your car keys?" I ask him, as I see him running to the fridge for some water.
"Kitchen table. Gotta run, bye, love you!" Max yells. I laugh and grab the keys.
"Are you coming?" I ask Victoria. She nods her head and jumps up from the couch. We walk out of the apartment and get into Max's car. I put the seat in my position, as I'm much shorter than Max is.
"Are you excited for your mum to be here for a few days?" I ask Victoria, as I pull away and drive onto the road.
"Yeah, it's very nice to have her here. But I also like that she gets to see Max again" Victoria says. I nod, smiling at her for only a second.
"I like seeing her again as well. I think I might visit my parents soon as well" I tell Victoria.
"I'm sure they understand that you're busy right now, though. Just like my parents understand they can't see Max as much" she says. I just nod, taking the exit to the airport. I park the car as soon as I see a spot. Victoria and I get out, walking towards the airport entrance.
We wait at the pick up spot.
"Jas, we need a balloon" Victoria says, pointing a shop. I nod and we quickly walk over there. We look between all the balloons, not being able to pick one.
"What about the heart?" Victoria asks, pointing at the giant heart balloon. I smile widely and grab it, paying for it as well. I hand the balloon to Victoria, as it's her mum.
We walk back to wait for Sophie. It takes about 10 more minutes, before she walks out, smiling widely when she spots us. She walks over, hugging Victoria first. She then gives me a hug as well.
"It's so good to see you, Jasmin" she says, as she accepts the balloon that Victoria hands her.
"It's good to see you too! Max is out training, but he'll be home when we get there as well" I tell her, as we start walking back towards the car.
"You have to see the apartment, mum. It looks so much better since Jasmin is there as well. Like no offense to Max, but he has no sense of style when it comes to house decorating" Victoria says. I giggle and blush slightly.
"I can't wait to see the apartment in Monaco" Sophie replies, smiling at me. I had sent them picture of the apartment in Monaco, after we re-decorated. Victoria and Sophie were very excited.
"How long are you staying?" I ask Sophie as we put her suitcase in the trunk of the car.
"5 days. Victoria and I will be travelling back home together" Sophie says, getting in the passenger seat, while Victoria sits in the back.
"Enough time to catch up, then" I say with a smile. When I want to start driving, Sophie suddenly grabs my hand, my left one. She looks at the ring and smiles.
"So my son isn't good with houses, but he certainly has taste for jewelry" she says, eyeing the ring on my finger.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I ask, smiling at it as well. Sophie nods, letting go of my hand. I now do start driving back to the apartment, already looking forward to the next couple of days.
-
We walk into the building, as I spot Max's training shoes in the hall. I hear soft music playing, making me smile. Sophie puts her suitcase in the hall, walking into the livingroom after me. Max is sittig on the couch and looks up when he hears us. He stands up and gives his mother a hug.
"It's so good to see you, mum" he says, kissing her cheek. Sophie smiles widely at her son.
"I missed you" she tells him. Max just hugs her again. I know he missed her as well.
"I have to tell you, the ring is beautiful" Sophie tells him. Max smiles proudly, looking over at me.
"A beautiful ring for a beautiful girl" he says, making Sophie and Victoria awh .
"Right, can I get you something to drink, Sophie?" I ask her. She smiles and nods.
"I got your favorite wine, mum" Max says.
"Oh, then I'd take a glass of that, please" she says. I nod and walk to the kitchen. I grab a glass for Sophie and one for Victoria, knowing she'd like one as well. I grab apple juice for Max and take it back to the livingroom.
I then go back to grab a glass wine for myself, then taking a seat on the couch.
"What do you wanna do?" Max asks his mum and sister, smiling at them.
"Oh, we could play games!" Sophie says excitedly. We all smile at her and nod.
"We could do 30 seconds!" Victoria says, having seen it in the game drawer. We played games with Victoria last night as well.
"Oh, I like that! We could do the engaged against the not engaged" Sophie says, grinning at Max and me. I giggle and stand up, ready to grab the game. I put it down on the table and set it up with Max's help. We get ready to play and I figure out that the Verstappen's are quiet competitive.
-
I walk into the bedroom from the bathroom, wearing a pair of shorts and a shirt from Max. Max is already laying in bed, on his phone for a bit.
I lay down next to him, as he smiles at me. He puts an arm around me and I lay my head on his chest.
"Who are you texting?" I ask him, while I trace my fingers over his stomach.
"Daniel. I'm doubting if I should ask him about the best man thing" he says.
"It's nicer if you ask him in person, don't you think?" I ask him. Max nods slowly, locking his phone and putting it away.
"You're right. I ask tomorrow, when we're at the Factory" he says. I smile and kiss his chest.
"I love you" he mumbles, kissing the top of my head.
"I love you too, Max" I reply, feeling my eyes getting heavy. It doesn't take long before I fall asleep in Max's arms.

Hello! Another chapter!
It took me a while to write this, but I'm finally done! Hope you liked it!
Now for the bad news.. I have decided that chapter 9 will be the last chapter. I don't know what to write about besides the races in this story. Writing this chapter took me 3 weeks, that's how much inspiration I have left for it.
So I will post the last chapter soon, ending the book. I just wanna thank everyone who has supported this story and off course Grand Prix of Love. I loved reading your comments!
