The triangle

It was clear that I liked Fred but was I ready for a relationship? Apart from that there was the love triangle if you could call it that. Fred and Draco. I laid in my bed that night thinking about it. I had kissed both boys but a kiss shouldn't decide who I should be with in the case I wanted a relationship. Draco and I shared some good times together and I enjoyed his company, but so did Fred and myself. Merlin! I needed help.

I rose out of bed and headed quietly out of the dormitory to go downstairs. Hopefully the fire and serenity could help me relax so I could think properly. As I was rounding the bottom stairs I saw that someone was already sitting there. As I moved closer I realized it was Fred.

I smiled to myself as I moved closer adn sat down beside him.

"Can't sleep?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "Not really, my mind wont let me."

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him

He looked into the fire. "You" he said casually.

My eyes widened slightly. "You were thinking about me?"

Fred nodded his head. We sat in silence for a few minutes before Fred moved a bit closer and casually yawned before stretching his arms out and bringing one around my shoulder. I couldn't help but laugh, that was so tacky and cute.

"Fred, really the move?"

"What move?" He smirked.

I smiled and then mimicked his yawn stretch shoulder movements.

"That move."

"You look cute" Fred said to me.

Oh great here comes my blush.

"Thanks" I yawned.

Fred pulled me closer and I closed my eyes. He was warm and I liked it.

"I know its a silly question but do you have a boyfriend?" Fred asked me.

I looked at him and laughed. "Why would you think I had a boyfriend Fred?"

"Well you are a beautiful, smart and funny girl. Plus you were in Beauxbatons with all those fancy boys surely you have had a few admirers" Fred said more pointedly.

I looked at him and smiled. "No, I mean yeah I had a few admirers but I kept thinking of you and the good times we had together." I laughed as I recalled a thought. "There were these twins that I saw on the first day that reminded me of you and your brother. I missed you so much Fred." I wrapped my arms around him

I realized what I had just said and quickly leaned away and looked at him. Of course, it was Fred. It had always been Fred. Draco would forever be my friend.

"Fred" I smiled.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend Genesis." He asked me.

I smiled and nodded my head. He brought me into a hug that I returned. The warmth began filling my body like hot apple cider on a cold winter day.
