NOT EDITED

My besties and I all went to the mall to meet the other guys who we each other blind dated. I blind dated my best friend Amanda, and she did the same back. She better have taken this seriously or I will slap her. Jk. Well, I dont know. I took hers seriously so she should have done the same to me.

Thank god she did. He is one fine dude. Cute, tall, not bad looking, sense of style, looks kinda ripped. This guy was Jason. Jason Tyler, to be exact. Hers was fine too, Jake Evans. I have sucha  good eye for guys that are Amanda's type. He was calm and sincere and just absolutely adorable with a tall height and ripped muscles. He was more ripped then Jason, but I didn't care. It seems that any boy name that starts with Ja- is sexy. Well, if they come from England, like Jason and Jake.

After we went around the mall, we went to the movies and saw the old film Tangled. I guess the movie theatre was like a year or two behind on updates. I know I'm old, but no one is old for that movieor Disney. I loved it, and I think he did too.

It was starting to get a dark, and my gurlies needed to get back home for their curfews. Amanda and the other girls stepped onto the bus and  I asked for a car ride home to Jason. He gave me a kiss on my forehead.  "Ok then. My deck is not far from here, so is it ok if we walk down there and get my keys and go?" Holding hands, we walked down the muddy and cigarette stacked streets of Brooklyn.

He abruptly stopped at a red bricked apartment and started fiddling with the rusty golden door knob. He opened the door and offered me in. "Hold your horses, I don't want to be 17 and pregnant". Blushing and laughing Jason walked in and told me to wait for him. I stood on the corner of the building, my back against the brick house. Plugging in my headphones about to blast some Martin Garrix and Lorde, I heard some girl squeal and shriek behind me. I immediately told myself, "Taylor, stay away from the noise." If I lived somewhere else, I would have definitely helped this screaming girl. But if you live in the nasty streets of Brooklyn NY, especially on the "scary" side, then you know well not to get involved in other people's business. I raised the volume higher so I couldn’t hear the girl scream.

I was standing there for more than 30 minutes, and my legs were starting to hurt. I plucked off the left earphone, and I heard silence through the night air.

A little suspicious, I walked further away from the apartment to see if any windows were open or if any of the lights were on. As I walked, I saw past the wall I was leaning. There were 5 men with a black mask over their faces, covering everything except their eyes.

Well that so does not look cliché.

I saw a very familiar face on the ground, blood plastered all over her face. Her eyes were half open, but it looked so lifeless and dull. It also looked like there was some red stuff splattered everywhere.

"Amanda?"

What the hell was she doing? I swear she was on the bus when I last saw her. What happened to her? Just what the fuck is going on? One of the men turned around, and I swear I saw those pair of eyes before. He tapped to his friend, and soon most of the men were looking at me.

I took a few steps back, trying to come to me. I managed to be free for a second and I didn't let it go to waste.

I sprinted out of there. As fast as I could.
